a Maxima was part of the Nissan lineup in Gran Turismo 1 & 2? I remembered playing part 1 and just wished that it was in the game. When part 2 was about to come out I was really hoping for a Maxima to appear in the game. I bought it played it but no Max! Damn, how come a Maxima never made it to the great racing game?

I just hope (once again) that it makes it to gran Turismo 2000 on PS2.

If only! How they gonna have the infiniti G20 on there, and not the Maxima??? Go figure.

Easy, the "G20" is known as the premira else where... it is races in many touring car championships, say BTCC. It does very well in BTCC, actually it won the manufacturing championships couple of years back. Plus it has a real suspension.

i personally think it sucks. i want them to make a new need for speed. now thats a racing game, i just wish it would work on my computer it just stop working one day.

Need for speed only looks good. The physics of the game is unrealistic.

GT is probably the best simulation game around.

I have all of The Need for Speed series and Gran Turismo 1 & 2. I enjoy all of those games but GT2 is my favorite. Need for Speed is nice but feels "fake" when you play it.

I doubt they're going to have a Max for GT3. Got to play a demo version at the SF Auto Show recently. The only cars available were Mustang Cobra, Acura NSX, and Honda S2000. I tried out the NSX and S2K...

Can't wait until it comes out.

The closeset they will come is the CEFIRO (Forgot how to spell it! ) ... but I doubt that too!!!!

In GT2, there is a Maxima-like station wagon I won in one of the races. It has a Maxima front, with a 3.0L 280hp V6 I think! Or maybe it's an I6. Man, if only I can remember the name.

I agree. GT2 is the best (until 3 comes out). The NFS series is getting better though. NFS5/Porsche Unleashed has a realistic physics engine, unlike NFS 2,3,4, which all sucked with the arcade like physics. NFS1SE was the best. Good variety of cars(Viper!) and was realistic. Now if only EA could make NFS6 like NFS1.

NFS1SE is my favorite also. I think it has a good lineup of cars. Cars that you see on the road once in a while (Supra, NSX, Viper....). I can't play that game no more, friggin Voodoo 3 card won't recognize that game for some reason.

Okay, answer me this....No Maxima or Cefiro, however they have a dodge avenger and stratus!?!?! And what about the Espace minivan, I believe Renault makes it, which is actually a real Nissan product since Renault is now owned by Nissan. Or how about the dodge intrepid?!?! They'll probably have a Ford Festiva and Geo Metro to compete with the Mini Cooper before they put a Cefiro or Maxima on that game! Lets all write angry hate mail to Sony telling them they need to add the Maxima, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gen! After all, in North America, the Maxima is Nissans performance car.

I tried both the Avenger and Stratus and they both suck!! I e-mailed Sony once a long time ago but that was that. Never heard anything back from them.

Does anyone have the version where you can drag race? I know that the game was supposed to have that feature.. mine didn't have it. Anyone else? Or did the programmers forget to add that feature?

Also... The Nissan Primera (G20) is my favorite Touring car. If you buy a G20 in the game and get the racing modified option.. it will look exactly like the Touring Car G20.

I was also mad that there was no Max in the game. Hell, they have a Camry, Accord wagon, Neons, Ford Taurus, and other pathetic cars...

I think Polyphony Digital makes GT. Sony just publishes/licenses the game. Well the Avenger is a sports coupe...dunno why the Stratus is in there, but probably because it's in a few races. Hey GT3 won't come out for another couple of weeks/months, so let's e-mail Polyphony Digital/Sony.
