4th Gen Maximas95-99. I'm working with a manufacturer that develops carbon fiber hoods(oem spec) and if I can get 5 or more people interested in it then I can get the manufacter to develop for our Maximas. If you're interested leave me your email and I will get back with pricing and info. thanks. Dave

do you have any pics of it on a black maxima or know where i can go to see them. What is the advantages of it, i thought that it is better to have more weight in the front of the car on a front wheel drive car.

i take it this isn't FiberImages.com .. they already have a prototype CF hood .. but supposedly it's not available yet..

as for pricing.. MaximaDriver.com is supposed to have a group deal with Fiberimages, $435.00 for the CF.. and like $545 for the carbon kevlar, but so far, no word on availabliity...

Carbon Fiber Hoods

Carbon Fiber Hoods are significantly lighter than the OEM hoods, saving weight. These only come in black(carbon fiber).
Chebosto>>>No. this is not Fiberimages.com.
I definitely need at least 5 orders to get this deal thru, serious inquiries only. These hoods will not exceed $600. I don't know the exact pricing yet but I will have more info by Monday evening if enough people are interested.
We already have hoods for JDM spec Integras, US Hondas, and S-15 Silvias. Once the order is thru, it takes a week to manufacture and will be shipped to your door. Thanks.

how about some hood scoops?...the 50 lbs.(if that what it is)

weight savings isn't worth 600.00 but with some scoops it would look cool.

Scoops?

Actually there were Impreza owners that wanted hoods for their cars, but backed out because the manufacturer wasn't able to do scoops. I'll find out more on pricing by Monday evening.

no way

I could not spend 500 dollars on saving some weight. I already have over a hundred extra pounds from my stereo. So if it can come with a hood scoop i will buy one, but to save weight no way.
