windshield has a crack starting from the point where it "connects" to the top of the window frame .. it's going down about 3.5" - 4" ... can u repair this or do I have 2 replace?

Repair. You can catch them when they "star". There is a windshield/repair kit you can buy (I use it all the time & it works good), but I believe once it starts to crack & spread it will need to be repaired.
