What are the Highs and Lows of the ORG?

High: The ability for Maxima Owners to network across North America

Low: People like me asking everyone to marry them

 

high- i learn a lot of stuff
low- i spend my whole work day on this damn site. i dont get anythings done anymore. oh well

 

Hi's - See this pile of mods and maintenance helps. They all came as a result of the org. They were all successful even though the mechanic is far from top notch. Even the moderators are human (well most of the time)



Lo's - Getting heck for trying to help someone.

 

HIGHS: Learning new things about Maximas.

LOWS: 9 out of 10 people on this site have nothing useful to contribute.

 

Highs: learning and meeting maxima guys

Los: having to moderate and probably delete intentional bashing and petty arguments like this one.

If you don't edit it in about 10 minutes, it's el deleto time.

 

Highs: Learning about Maxima and being able to contribute.

Lows: All of the "internet thugs" talkin ish behind a keyboard
Some of the members here have terrible parenting skills

I mean really, more people fight on this forum than help out but don't worry, I won't be driven out.

 

This just in: 3 out of 4 doctors leaves 1 doctor.

 

Highs: learning about solutions to unique problems for our Maximas

Lows: A lot of flaming and negativity on a forum that is supposed
to be a group a people with the same interest

 

High: Learning tons about Maximas and sharing enthusiasm with others about our cars.

Low: Postwhores who know very little and have very little to contribute.

 

Highs: Learning to save money by doing maintenance yourself, installing/learning about mods, usually friendly people everywhere.

Lows: flamers, bbs bullies, and those who intentionally make it a job to annoy others. Classic yet aging site design.

 

No Doubt!!!!

 

Highs: Learning D.I.Y skills and saving lots of $$$ that can be put into mods.

Lows: I have a small *****.

 

I thought of another low: Getting ripped off by your fellow max.org members...

 

highs: the vast amounts of info that can be found around the board
lows: the overwhelming sarcasm and flaming

 

Highs: Coming to a place with no knowledge at all of a car and one year later knowing massive amounts and either knowing how to fix something or having immediate access to info on how to fix something; PWA and the rest of the people who keep this board interesting and worth reading.

Lows: Trolls

 

I completely agree!!

 

High: Lots of help with mod purchase decisions, and installation.
OG Low: VTD

 

Highs - more knowledge is always better, and this board serves it up if you can find it/key in on the right people.

Lows - reading all this stuff and realizing I dont have the right tools, very little experience, not much freetime, barely money after bills are all said and done, no trusted nissan-proficient shops/mechanics in the area, barely any friends that are even slightly interested in cars much less begin to know their way around under the hood/etc, and pretty much nobody on the .org around the area to even consult/compare cars with. (And all the other typical internet forum lows that people mentioned above....this board isn't nearly as bad as other car boards I've seen though)

 

highs - knowing i'm not a freak for being in love with my car (either that or we all need to get out more)

lows - are 90% of maxes owned by guys? it's somewhat lonely being a female max owner on this board....anyone else out there??

We don't have many because only the classiest ladies ride in Maximas.


Sarah (the current reigning Princess), Erica, Ange, Lime, Bella, and several others I'm sure I forgot and will be chastised for soon........

hi's: making a lot of aquaintances and some friends on here is pretty cool, my maxima would probably be sold if it wasnt for all the badass maxima's on here constantly showing off..

lo's: the haters as always and people who say things are "rice"

 

Highs: The extremely useful information that is on this site. Because of Maxima.org, I have saved myself hundreds of $$ in labor charges and have learned a lot about my car. All for free. A true bargain.

Lows: Members such as RoAdBeAsT who are nothing more than two bit hoods. The feeling of having been ripped off like that has to be one of the worst feelings ever. What makes it even worse is that he conducted his business through a website that helps people. I still can't believe it.....


And Bill is right...quality, not quantity. Too many swingin' d!cks around here...

In Part you are right!!

Hi:Getting new ideas how to upgrade my max, meeting new people and chilling on the weekends finding useful info about shops, tracks,deals, etc

Low: Too much crying! and too many LOCK Posts!!! also is this website addiction because i check this website all the time! It must be Maxiholic..

 

High: a bunch of people who are willing to help you with almost any problem.......and most of them won't even say something sarcastic first.

Low: I think everbody has already mentioned the lows (post-******, flaming, etc....)
