Re: OMG

this specific kit 8448 is the sequal to the Super Street Sensation 1, which was a lego technic kit back in 96... that kit, lego actually built a REAL working car out of legos.. supposedly the might do the same with the new 99 kit...

yeah. really nice.. something completed length of 18-20 inches long..

dude. image what if you lost like two piece. ARRGGHhhh..

legos are the sole reason why i'm an engineer today.. screw GiJoes. i mean ****. i was building trucks and race cars when i was 4.

....

this kit is sold direct from LEGO or at ToysRus, where Kaori got it... oh boy. she's the best..

Re: Re: OMG

Yeah, same here. I had dozens of Lego, Lego Technic and Construx and Meccano kits. If the Super Street Sensation is what I think it is, then I remember it. It was a huge red sports car, rite?

Dang...I might have to get that now.
And figure out how to build a twin-turbo system for the engine

so this is how you get a bazillion posts..

well. i can SC it with the optional electric motor,
plus theres an "RCX" kit where i can add two servos , one to control steering, another to control the motor, then i can atucally turn this car into a huge Lego RC car nice, eh?h hehheh

i got it for a really good deal. $90.00

normally retails for $129.99 at Lego Direct..

this model is like 20 inches in length when fully complete, and you can build 6 different bodies on this one specific chassis..

4 wheel indepentent suspension, rack n pinion steering, the sucker has a 6 speed gear box with moving stick (clutch?)

hehe.
