Hey everyone. As I posted on the old thread, which is very long, we have been royally screwed by our bodykit manufacturer. They have pretty much raised the price of the kits by almost $200.00 due to what the manufacturer stated as extra costs because of the shipping and higher quality fiberglass. The previous Group Deal for the Maxximum Tuning Type-S kit is DEAD. The new GD price is $1,050.00 shipped. Pictures will be up Saturday of the kit on a maxima so everyone can see what it looks like. I know everyone has been eager to see what this kit will look like on a maxima. I also know everyone is pi$$ed off because of the price change but NO ONE can be as pi$$ed off as me. I have tried to reach everyone on my Kit Reserve list Today and so far everyone that I have spoken to is still down to buy the kit which leaves 5 spots open unless this ********er manufacturer tries selling the rest of the kits. Anyways I'm putting a poll or survey or whatever it's called to see the further interest of this kit. I'm still trying really hard to have the price dropped so that I can sell them cheaper but it seems useless.

And if my contact at the manufacturer just happens to read this thread I'd like to give you a little message:
"Bro I haven't known you for that long but I always trusted you. When you worked at OPAK you always tried to get me the best prices when I called you and you always tried hard to get me good prices on the kits you sell for Civics and such. But you really destroyed my trust today when you told me this. I held my anger inside because of business, but if I was talking to you as a friend I don't know what I would have said. I always thought of you as a friend and I tried to call you for anything we needed here at the store. You really ****ed me over bro and made me look like an a**hole to a group of people I have been friends with for almost 2 years. I'm not going to talk to you as a friend anymore. No more joking around when we talk because as of now it's strictly business and because of this horrible business transaction I really don't care if we do business anymore."

I love the front but I dont like the rest of the kit. If this GD takes off and you decide to start selling pieces separately, I will definately buy the front bumper from you. As for now, I dont think I will splurge on the GD since I just bought the ionics kit

These prices don't include shipping. We're taking whole kit orders right now so if not all 20 people order the full kit we'll see if we piece out the rest.

Umm, so what the hell is going on? He's 2 days late with the pics. Thats not usual for a company that is trying to sell something like this. I hope no one has sent any money yet.

 

Let's get something straight... why would I be holding anything back? If I had the pics I'd post 'em up. But guess what... I don't. You guys aren't the ones that have to put up with the manufacterers bull$hit everyday. Everytime he tells me it's coming through I go over there and he's got a new excuse every time. Don't get mad at me. I'm just relaying the messages. Since I try to let everyone what's going on and everyone wants to criticize me for it... I'll just stop relaying the messages. From now on I won't post anymore info untill I get these kits.

 

I wasnt criticizing you. Just with all the scamming that has been going on, you never know if something is real or hype. Usually if you say pics will be up on "this day" then people will expect to see them. If you are unsure of an actual date, then why even say you'll have it ready by a certain time? Anyways, hope all the bull$hit clears up, cant wait to see how it looks!

 

How can he scam someone if he doesn't have anyones money yet, nor is he asking for it? Just give him some time. I'm sure a body kit is now an easy thing develop.

 

Sorry for the way I posted yesterday guys... I'm just still pi$$ed about the manufacturer charging me an extra $200 a kit. I really wanted my price to be competitive with Sarona and Stillen but now he's not letting me. Anyway's I got a call from him around a half an hour ago and he said that he's unloading the kits tonight so I'm going to go back there again to see if everything is straight. Now I'm not promising anything because we all know he's full of $#!t, but if everything is nice tonight there will be pics up when I get back. Now he also told me there is one huge problem with the kits... they have no grills. I felt like killing him because I told him like 40 million times that we need them with grills or everyone with a 95-96 maxima will need a 97-99 grill. I talked to him and he said that he can make 15 grills for the 15 kits that came in because it's only a few. By next month when 50 kits come in he should have 50 grills mass produced by another company here in the states so it doesn't take months to get here from Asia. This is what he told me. Tonight when I go there I will have more info and hopefully some pics so stay tuned.

 

... but I think there's a little problem. For some weird reason I can't post anymore with the Screen name "Maxximum Tuning". All my threads are locked. That's why I'm posting with my old screen name. I guess I did something that no one wants Maxximum Tuning on the Org anymore. It's ok. I have no problem. This will be my last post on Maxima.org. To all you guys that know me and met me at the meets... it was fun. Lotta good times. Regarding the bodykits, our e-mail is not working anymore so please don't try to e-mail us for another week. The rear bumper is not bad at all. Not too aggrassive just the way I like it. You guys did a great job.

Can't piece out any of the kits. Looks like we're already on back order. Only 13 or 14 kits available from this shipment and we are selling them to the people who called to put them in reserve first. If there are kits left over they will go to the next person who wants a full kit so if you and someone else wanna chip down and buy a kit and piece it out feel free. When the next shipment comes in a month... there should be enough to piece out a few.
