You'll get the crappy Injen filter that comes with it, but you can swap it out for any other 3" filter (5th Gens). I dont think he carries, the apex filter, but i may be wrong.

How crappy is it? Otherwise you are adding a bunch of money to this intake.

Alright, sorry I mis-worded it, it isnt crappy, but I dont really like it. It's basically the exact same thing as a K&N. It works good though.

Install is obviously different than the PRCAI. Anyone know the basics, specifically on the filter end?

Its really easy, connect the tubes and the filter just clamps onto the end and you guide down to the bottom of the engine bay. Anybody can do this. You dont need much experience to be able to.

If you can connect hoses and pipes with clamps then you can do this. The hardest part is connecting the little red tubes to the mid-pipe thing. If you've done springs yea im sure you can do this.

I spent 2 hours total. And that's including letting the engine cool down, taking out the ram air piping, taking out my Stillen pop charger and on top of that I busted my right wrist the week before so it was an all left-hand job.

A word of advice for 4th gen... You'll need the grommet from the temperature sensor.. And you'll have to take out the black box underneath the battery tray (not in the instructions).

Well Injen dynoed a 2k2 6 spd with it and got like 13 hp, and it wasnt in the best gear for the dyno. I cant say how much it helped me, but I love it. Soooo worth it.

The box is huge!!! It won't fit on your overhead compartment... maybe if you check it in as a baggage!!! It's not heavy. Check my homepage... I took a pic of all the parts that came with it laying on the floor, you can pretty much fit everything into a backpack if you want....

Yeah, the whole box is filled with foam peanuts... you can easily fit 2 kits into 1 box!
