Mark Cranfill
9409 La Grima De Oro NE

I made the order to you tho. Please update me on the situation b4 I get paranoid.
I haven't recieved it yet...I've been looking and asking my dad if it has showed up at the house and now word yet. Been asking him everyday becuase I figured it would be in sometime this week. But still no sight of it. If you possibly put my name instead of my dads name on the envolope it would take sometime to foward it to me. Which has happened on a few orders it takes like another 3-4 days to foward...I'm thinking I'll recieve it by Saturday but if I don't get it...we need to get in touch with the post office and see what is going on. But unfortunately nothing has showed up yet. But as soon as it does I'll shoot you an email. But, that is the right address. but like 96SE said it is with a U but I'm sure when you sent it it had a U instead of an E Plus it doesn't really matter post offices normally go by Zip code.

I tried and failed.

When I ordered from John a couple of weeks ago the VI and cover cost me $1206AUS after exchange rate and I still need to buy the Harlan etc.

I don't think you guys have any excuses over there.

True, what a difference a week makes.

But I'm happy here with my empty wallet and toolbox on red alert.

that is everything? for some reason, it seemed like there was more we had to get if we bought it all ourselves.

That is everything that I use...And to of the things I didn't even use (relay and check valve)...anyway there isn't anything else that is needed that I can think of, and I've installed to. I'll double check the list but that is all I can come up with. I'll ask hype and see if he has anything to add.

Since the MEVI takes a while to get here, is it possible for you to send the other parts early? I would like to wire up everything before the MEVI arrives.

Yes I can I just wouldn't be able to do that 50-50 for the parts if you wanted them early. But, it would still be probalby be 2-3 weeks before you get the parts because I have to order them and have to have them come in. But you would recieve the kit probalby a 1-3 weeks before the kit got to you. Just so you know.

Just went to my parents for lunch and the mail came while we were eating and the MO was in there for the order. Just wanted to give you the heads up. Geez 10 days to get here. That is awful.

I really want to ge the VI, but I do not have the time to look for all the parts needed. If you can get all the parts together for me, how much would they cost shipped to me as one big package? Thanks, Alex.

That is the installation package that I've been talking about...it will cost 135 MO/check and 140 through paypal. Just let me know if you interested and I would be glad to pick up all that stuff for you.

VI and cover shipped sea frieght total cost is 560 MO/check or 575 paypal. Then the installation kit is 135 mo/check or 140 paypal. So total ammount for the VI, cover, and installation kit shipped sea frieght would run you $695 MO/check or $715 paypal.

Hope that helps and if you have any other questions feel free to send me an email or just post here!!

You can send the paypal to cranfillj@aol.com. So, it would be 357.50 for the 2 seperate payments. Just so your aware though...when having it shipped sea frieght the second half is due the week before shipping...and then your still without the part for about 25-35 days. But, if you want or decide on the week of shipping that you would actually like it shipped EMS just let me know and you can pay the extra to have it shipped that way which only take 3-5 days from shippment date.

Just so your aware, and I hope that helps,
John

i just read a post by dave b, and he said that his vi only works in one gear(whichever gear you set it to). is this a problem with the vi's, or something else? how can we take care of it? i just sent you something in the mail . now i am not sure if i want the harlan switch. dave mentioned another switch in the 4th gen forum. would it be possible to get that one instead?
thanks

now i am pretty worried over the harlan switch. i just read about 20 posts on how harlan is a hit or miss. i also read you say that harlan said he has new product and material coming in, so this should help??? if it doesn't, is he going to correct the problem?

I understand your concern, but my friends and other Maxima owners that us the RPM switch haven't had a problem. When I talked to Harlan about it seemed that there was a batch of several RPM switches that he sent out in June, July, and August that and some ROM error in it. Anyway, he purchaced new chips and has gone over what caused the problem and has rectified the problem. I just installed my friends VI where he got the RPM switch about 3 weeks ago and it works flawlessly.
