We have a date.

The covers will be in the week of November 7th.

When I get them in my dirty little hands, I'll be asking for final payment.

So keep in mind while your digging in your couch for lost change that you will need (by November 7th):

$37 + Actual Shipping Cost + $2 PayPal fee (if you so choose).

The exception will be JustMaxin96, who will only owe shipping.

Obviously I can't tell you what the shipping cost is going to be at this point. Theoretically it could be different for everybody depending on where you live in relation to Louisiana.

Once the little bastards are in, I will re-pack them and let you know the cost of shipping to your door.

I have a silly question:
Will my FSTB still fit fine with the MEVI and cover installed?

And you can still get to your spark plugs, etc, etc.

the only "problem" is that the EVAP cylinder doesn't have a place to bolt onto on the new manifold. I have mine zip-tied to my FSTB, but even if I didn't, it probably wouldn't go anywhere.

Yeah, but at least you'll have a great looking cover sitting in your garage.

Nope. The install looks and sounds alot harder than it actually is.

Hayes/Chilton's Manual should be all you need.

It seems some people have dropped out of my 2nd GD.

There's only 5 left now.

3 people did not respond at all to my E-Mails, and 1 responded, asked a question, and never responded to my response to that question.

I've still technically got a spot or two open...so let me know.

Anyway, when are the covers expected to arrive? (any updates?)

The covers are supposed to arrive on or about the 7th.

I have paid John the remaining $300+.

When they get here I will let everyone know via this thread.

I've painted my Valve Cover a dark red.

I'm thinking about painting this and the top of my MEVI red as well, then putting the big Nissan badging from a newer Maxima on the cover in chrome.

What do you all think?

The next step would be to get my SC Tubing powdercoated red as well.

Anyway, let us know when they show!

Red being my favorite color I think it would look good, especially with the powdercoating of the pipes.

UPDATE

Ok ladies, Santa came early this year.

I just returned from picking up my VI and the covers. Can you believe they both arrived on the same day?

I REPEAT, THE VI COVERS HAVE ARRIVED.

I will have details later this AFTERNOON (11/20), it's 1:30am right now so I'm hit'n the rack.

And the FUN begins...

Here's the skinny.

It seemed as though this group deal was going to close without a hitch, but (as it seems with most group deals) it hasn't worked out that way.

I ordered 10 covers (1 extra). Nissan only sent 6 mounting brackets.

They are shipping the additional brackets on approximately 11/26/2002.

This means that 2 of you will have to wait until I receive the remaining brackets before I can ship your cover.

I will ship JustMaxin96 his cover as soon as I get a shipping address from him since he only owes me for the shipping cost.

I will start shipping the remaining 5 covers that are now available this Friday (11/22) to the first 5 people who send me their remaining amount due. In other words "first come, first serve".

This is the fairest scenario I could come up with.

The average total cost for the covers comes to less than $75. Not too bad I guess.

I am not going to post the payment updates on this forum like I did before.

Your payment instructions, payment updates, shipping information and your final amount due is/will be posted at the following link:

Click here ---> Amount Due

I will post any changes, problems or whatever on this thread until the last little bastard cover is out my door.

Later....
