I don't use them on street cars but if I am racing such as Autox at a high speed it might be needed. So if its your daily driver you don't really need them unless the tire shop can not balance your wheels right.

The best wasy to determin you need them or not is get the tires on put them on your car and if your steering wheels shakes, you might need them if you wheels are 100% balanced
