Bass mechanic I understand that you were kind of beat up by some of the older members on Pearl96max's group deal post. One of the things we try to do here is try and not step on each others toes when selling things on the ORG. Meaning if i'm selling a certain product on the org. in a group deal then some one else shouldn't be trying to sell the same thing on the org in a group deal! Thats just Disrespectful!!! So If i were you I would kindly wait for his group deal on the viper alarm to be over before you start yours!! Notice this was nicely put and not the FLAME that it could have been!!!

 

point taken, to be honest here is my history with this board maybe after reading you will better understand whats going on.

i happen to have access to a lot of different things through distrubuters i deal with because i run my own business and sell my own stuff online.
because of this many people know me from other boards (about 7 of them i frequent mostly hondas) anyway someone from here found me and asked me to come in and help to try to put together a deal on a clarion DVD player because someone else from this board flaked out on it.
to be honest i have never participated in a GD, purchased anything from a GD before. i was asked to come in here and see what i could do to help out.
i was responding to a thread i had started on a pioneer unit earlier today and saw a link in the thread to the DEI responder thread. i only skimmed the thread and not knowing any of you because i am new to this board i assumed that the people were just looking for a resource. i did not realise that the original poster of the other thread was the one trying to set anything up. what i did see was that people had tried to get a low price and came up with 650. i knew one of my distrubuters was able to get me some so i called to get price and qualtity available. i came back to the thread and posted not realising i was doing anything wrong. i actually thought the people from that thread would be happy to have found a source a couple hundred lower than the 650 figure. i also figured since there were no recent replies to that thread and no final price was ever givin from anyone (pearl) i decided to also post a new thread so people would see it. i never realised i had stepped on anyones toes until Pearl had replied.
then the flames came out and all hell broke loose.
i would have not posted anything until he finished his deal but again i did not read all the posts. that was my fault and for that im sorry. Pearl did say that i should go start another thread in his post but i had actually already done that. now that there already posts on this thread i can't delete it. but sine i already have a price and pearl dosnt why not let me finish mine then he can do his. i agree that now that this has happend we will either get into a price war and it gets worse or someone has to wait. how about this.. let me do my deal since i already tried to help out everyone on this board with a Clarion DVD unit that nobody seems to want to get and let me make a few bucks? obvously Pearl has already made some money and a lot of friends here. how about you guys give the Newbie a shot at it for just this time?

as you can see i already have some people that want one and i dont want to let them down. they have already been let down on the first deal i tried to do here where they were promised a bogus price on a 2600.00 clarion DVD unit that ended up being a truthfull 1375 price. that was a real slap in the face to everyone because several were ready to buy for 900. (and i dont plame them) let me finish my GB and ill leave you guys alone. i came in here with the GB because this is the first place i have seen with such a high interest in them.

uninstalled but you should be able to get someone to install it for you. i have decided im also dropping the price to 399 due to lack of responces. i will not drop it any lower so don't ask! but for the additional 50 off you should be able to get someone to install if you look around. just dont go to any shops that think they are all that. they will charge you out the *** for it. installing alarms however is not that hard. you just need to go 1 wire at a time and also look online there are sites that have the wire codes for your car. they will tell you the location and color of the wire you need. if you are even a little bit familiar with wireing then you should be able to pull it off. for the savings it would be worth a try and if you still dont feel confident you should be able to go to a best buy and have it installed.
