Alright guys this is the deal on those springs. Just got off the phone with PJ from Maxx Tuning. He said the springs are on their way to him in NJ and as soon as they get there, he'll be sending them out to us. He just doesn't want to say any dates because people like me in AL will get them before people in lets say CA probably by a few days. He didn't say how long before he will recieve them, but I would predict pretty soon.

 

any idea if these will fit 5th gen kyb-agx? i wanted to get in on this but waited cuz i dont think there was a consensus on fitment...anybody have kyb-agx's in this GD?...

The 5th Gen KYB AGX's are the struts I want to use. Not sure if they would fit so I send an email to PJ at Maxx Tuning asking if he knew. No response yet, but when I do hopefully they will and I'll keep you posted.

 

Hey guys. Sorry for the abscense. We've been closed since Saturday due to the big snow storm here in NJ. Aparently that storm ****ed up everything here. All my orders were pushed back a couple of days. The second I get the info I'll post up.

Well I got my shipment of Nokya Bulbs from California on Friday so I gues the springs will be arriving early this week. I already printed out the shipping labels for all you guys so the second they drop the spings off... they put 'em right back on the truck and ship em out again.

me too... well sorta, we have too much snow up here for me to put the springs on right when I recieve them. I still need to order new struts too. I don't think my springs will go on until the end of March

 

I tried to contact custommaxima to set up a GB on tokico shocks, but no response yet. Hopefully they will set up a GB for us. These are the only shocks you can put in without modification. If not, I will probably still buy from them. They are selling them for the best price $309 + 20 shipping. Great deal even without a GB.

 

Yeah...I'm also lookin into shocks & struts. Hopefully a GD....or jus a good price. So...if someone knows or has a good price, please post. Thanks.

I thought KYB GR-2's fit without modification?

 

But can these struts handle such a low drop.

 

I thought they were equivelant to tokico's. And I don't know if Tokico's can handle the drop either. But I've had stock struts on my car with eibach's for over 30k miles and my struts are finally blown. So I figure that GR-2's or Tokico's will last me long enough.

I doubt they have KYB AGX availuble for 5th gen......

 

They have to be modified.... Cattman does modification for them to fit. www.cattman.com

Damn this GD started on 11-25-2002 and it's now 2-26-03 almost March. You guys still haven't recieved your springs??? "Dang"

they sed the springs were in NJ somewhere and that he should be gettin them tomarrow...
and that the springs should reach us anywhere between monday and thursday....
dah....so ill probably have to wait til thursday....

That's right. The springs actually passed through Uniondale, NY this morning and should be at my store tommorrow afternoon. Like I said the one's going out will be shipped tommorrow afternoon as well so that you guys can hopefully get it sooner because of the weekend (there are no deliveries in the weekend but they're still shipping).

 

The springs are in guys. I'm shipping them out today. I'll have all the tracking numbers available tonite. Would you guys rather have me post them all up here or E-mail them to you? If you guys want me to e-mail them please post up your e-mail addresses.
