Any news on shipment of these?????

I've emailed and tried to call (no answer). Just want to know when these are shipping and when they'll arrive.

Still no word on what's going on. I've tried email and other .org members have called. Same thing, no info. This is really ruining my plans. At least if I had an idea of what was going on I could plan accordingly. Someone posted a website that had the Maxspeeds for 109 dollars shipped. I'm thinking I should have done that now. I don't mind playing more for less stress.

I sent my email this morning and I received his response at 11am this morning (01/02).

Three weeks since payment....where's my springs. Anyone have a phone number...he refuses to answer e-mails. Anyone actually recieve their springs yet? Thanks.

 

I just talked to Lee at Volks and as BlueBob said he expects to send out the springs today and Monday. He said he will post tracking numbers on this or the other thread. He said, for east coast delivery, UPS would take 5 - 7 days.

I think all is good - just that I gave out my patience at Christmas.

Can't wait till they get here.

His no complaints track record has been tarnished. I'll go on record, I have a complaint. Terrible communication and unreliable information about shipment times. He won't even personally come on the tread and post an explanation.

Gentlemen, this not to rag on anyone, but now is not the time to get angry. If anything all I can say is patience. I don't do Group Deals often, but I know patience is key. I've sent another email asking about the tracking numbers and I'm sure we should get them soon.

As Stated in my original thread items will ship 1-2 weeks after close of GB, with the holidays and such there was a slight shipping delay from my supplier from the shipping company. Rest Assured I have NEVER NOT come through on any GB's for you and here are the Tracking numbers Below as promised.

I am okay with waiting. But don't tell me you're going to ship one day and not ship. Don't tell me the tracking numbers will be up when they won't. It is now 5pm PST. I don't think we will see the tracking numbers today either.

 

UMMM.. the tracking numbers ARE THERE!

 

I tried to get the tracking info but this is what the UPS site shows:

"Unable to track shipment "1Z E71 350 03 4633 794 8 ".
We could not find information for this Tracking Number. Make sure the Tracking Number is correct and try again. (1044) "

I suppose it could be that it's not in the system yet, but usually it shows up when they scan the package when it's dropped off/picked up.

Have these packages been picked up yet or is pick-up just scheduled? (they give you a tracking number for that)

I see, now I believe. Thanks. And the tracking numbers probably aren't valid till tomorrow. You'll have to wait till tomorrow before it's in UPS's tracking systems.

 

Overall I'm happy with the outcome of this Group Deal. I think the time frame that the springs were shipped out was very reasonable. If you read the posts on other GD's it seem more often than not their are much greater delays than we experienced. That being said, I still think a little more communication from Volkscafe would have gone a long way in making some people more comfortable.

 

What? I thought we just needed 10 buyers period! There is 18 there. I only stayed in the deal to help the numbers stay up for the GD because I said I would and everyone was walking. Now you say we only had 5 not 10 for 5th gens WTF?

Okay guys,

Quit your whining, the items have shipped and you can track them with the supplied information.

Sometimes suppliers are slow to ship to the seller, and he took in several extra customers while he was waiting. I for one, was one of those who was 'tardy'.

He posted the tracking numbers ASAP. They were here before UPS even had a chance to get them uploaded onto their computer network. That is why they did not work at first

Like I said before hes never had a problem and he stated everything in the original post. If you wanted them the same day you should have gone to a local shop or ordered drom a non-GB..

Thats not the point. You can't set dates and not stick to them. Some people have to actually make plans! Like now that I know I have a tracking #, I can tell they will be here Wed.
