All SC people...

I just got off of the phone with Unorthodox Racing and they make a pulley for us that is the same size of the OEM pulley.
Since 85% of the power comes from the wieght being lighter, this will be great. The sales guy said that there is a huge difference for us SC people.

So here is the deal.
15-39 pulleys $206.06 plus shipping
40+ pulleys $195.49 plus shipping

he has it for the 95-2k3. (2k2-2k3 if you are planning to add a SC)
He will combine any color or year car.

Please post and let me know who is on the deal.

I don't know if it is new but I like the underdrive pulley idea but did not whant to loose boost from it.
From what I have looked at it may give us at 10LB of boost 40-50 HP. I don't know for sure but I am willing to give iot a try.

40-50hp?

how much is it without the group deal? It might be more prudent to have a test case rather than everyone jumping in.

no offense to latinmax, i hope.

No offense taken. reguler price is $245 so it is a pretty good price in the GD. I will end up getting it no matter what..but thought that if others joined in they could benifit and we could all save some money.

I want a UDP but don't want to loose the power by underdriving the SC.
peace

That's what Unorthodox Racing claims, NOT me. It's 37 with the underdrive pulley. SO I think it is possible.

Hmm.. I don't believe that rep.. hehe... it's sorta like the test pipe that's supposed to give us 20-30 hp..

I couldn't find on their site where there is a stock diameter udp either.. seems too good to be true.

He always has GREAT deals on UR pulleys. I didn't know they had a stock size, but lighter pulley or I would have bought one already.

If he can get them for approximately the normal UDP price, I'm down.

I don't have a sc Max YET, but will the UDP be ok for my stock Max?
Will I see any increase in HP or torque?

I have spoken with Alex and he is selling me a the pulley at full price (a little cheeper than Orthodox). I will dyno the car after I install the SC without it then with it on and get back to you guys, to let you know the results.
So we will see how accurate the claims are.

Did Alex get back to you Gabriel?

He emailed me that his UR rep had no idea what part #121001002 was.

Alex sounded like he wasn't able to get the ball rolling. Is that where this deal is?

I am buyimg (at full price) a pulley that Alex and I think is the right one (different part number) and I will dyno my car in about 1-2 weeks and then pull off the factory pulley and dyno with the light wieght pulley. Then I will post the dyno results. Then maybe we can get a GD for the rest of you guys.

I will keep you guys up to date.

Once you pull the stocker off, please compare the two.

Also, weigh the UR pulley just to double check.
