it's for 97 to 98 but i belive it fits on 95 to 96 maxima too.
other member said that it will stick out 1 or 1.5 in out of bumper.
o well i have 96 maxima se and i decide to get one...

I emailed him 2 weeks ago and he said the 99-01 systems were $268, but I thought he would value the group deal price. Oh well, its still not a bad deal.

 

first off, only one person got it for 230 shipped, everyone else was in the group deal for 260 and 270 shipped. And ours came with a 4" tip, this is with a 4.5" tip so its a little different....

plus i expected this to happen, i mean the demand is so high right now....well, i just hope he can get them in stock..i can talk to my friend who works and sells OBX...his price might be about 280 shipped or something depending on how many people join....but atleast you'll definitely get it....if anyone is interested, email me @ thaholycity@aol.com or leave me a PM....or AIM

 

Do they still have a version with a 4" tip? I'd rather have the smaller tip. Once you figure price With shipping, please bump the post.

Yo, I'll jump in on this deal. It's better than payin 500 dollars for Greddy.

 

It is better in the price but do u want something that will help performance greddy adds alot more horsepower then any other exhaust and makes an excellent sound!!

 

a bpipe and muffler do not add that much horsepower as it is...around 5-7hp
now to say a greddy adds a lot more...would mean the obx gives about 4 and the greddy gives like 7.
however i doubt the gains are any different as obx has 2.5" pipe all they way through.
this is clearly a better deal.

Just curious, do you have any data to support this? I don't really see how greddy's catback can make ALOT more power, maybe 2-3hp max.

 

he doesn't have anything to support it, the only reason he said it is cause he's selling greddy's cat back exhaust.

reminds me of how warpspeed bashes budget's products just to get sales

even saying the greddy cat back yields A LOT more hp than stock is false; from what i see it gives 5hp, which is hardly noticable.

Have any heard of the OBX exhaust going bad before. I've heard they are silent now...but later on when the resonator wears out it gets louder. This might not be true for the maxima though. I'm still debating whether I should get one or not.

obx has a lifetime warranty on this product, i have the certificates and registration cards here with me....

as far as it being weaker than greddy in power, i highly doubt it...its the same dam setup...however, because obx has back to back resonators (not sure if greddy has that or even has 1, but i hear we might lose high end hp because we have it....

 

well at least that means more usable hp throughout the power band

i know for sure it fit on 95. he has 95-96 maxima catback system it's little shorter than 97-98 max's catback

 

I would double check on the 02 which would be the same as the 03. I called both ssautochrome and obxracing and both said there is no cat back available for the 02-03.

Yea, i still would not do business with this guy... has terrible business ethics issues and does not honor the prices he quoted or the deadlines he set. If you see the number of problems that people are having with this seller (through other forum threads), you'll probably change your mind about this group deal. Just thought I warn all of you because I really don't want the same issues happen to u guys.

 

to save dealing with this guy, i was saying i could purchase a cat-back that would fit on a 99, for the people that have received the wrong parts.

this way neither of us would have to do business with this guy, as he doesn't seem to be giving refunds, nor the right parts to the buyers of 95-96 systems.
