I don't know the guy personally but he's a dash kit seller on ebay. I heard about him after 2k1maximase purchased and installed his brushed aluminum kit. I thought it looked great so I contacted the guy and asked if a GD could be set up...and here were are.

did anyone changed their dash on their GLE model(that comes with woodtrim)?? if yes, how did u replace the dash?? did u remove woodtrim or did u just lay on top of woodtrim??

awsker, i have an '00 SE 5spd. no navi and manual heat and air, does this kit come with everything that it shows on that picture you have, because if it does and it is 110 for the CF i am gladly in on this deal!!!

id defly take off the woodtrim before puttin on the cf..

the kit looks great, but i can't tell something....are those flat pieces or "molded" pieces? and what about the door handles? what kind of adhesive does it use, 3M, etc.? thanks for your time!

It's a flat kit and 3M is used as the adhesive.

for the brushed alum, is there like a plastic covering the top? or is it really thin, like couple pieces of paper thin? i recieved a sample of a synthetic alum, and it had this funny clear bump ontop of the alum, making it seem like sorta like a layer of glue.

I haven't received mine yet so I can't tell you.

By the way, I talked to the vendor and he said that there is no time limit on this GD. Just make sure you mention that you're from the org and you'll get the kit for $110.

Kinda dissapointing that only 5 members purchased on this deal.

Based on the pictures, it looks like there is the epoxy/resin coating on top of the material. It has that sheen to it.

I'm pretty sure the epoxy is what you are referring to.

For one, Stillen overcharges for everything, they could probably charge half of what they try to sell the kit for and make money on it.

But the other thing is that Stillen's kit is real CF, and these are synthetic CF and aluminum.

The real, CF kits I get made, I pay more to have them made than this GB is going for, so that's part of it.

The kit looks like it fits very well, and it does make that interior look nicer.
