This is the new group deal for the Microvision 7"LCD Screen.
I am running a group deal for the microvision 7000bc 7" video screen. The screen has Rca video inputs, wireless remote and comes with the mounting bracket included.The screen can be hooked up to any video source that uses RCA jacks for output. DVVD, VCR, Laptop with tv out, VIdeo game systems. Anything. This is the same screen mounted in my car on my homepage. Several Org members have purchased this screen from me and are happy with it. The deal is for 230. Shipped.

I was told that this screen will not fit in a 5th gen, you dont have the extra slot for the hu to go.

Paul the sound goes straight from the source to the headunit via auxillary inputs or an RF modulator.

AlrightI want to get in on this group deal. Is any extra mounting parts that are need to put this in place of the area where the double din Bose HU corrently is? Also what do you have to do get rid of the little compartment below the HU so that a single din after market unit can fit in there like you did in your car? Also if a lto more people were to join this group deal would price drop at all?

Dro, there is no extra hardware needed to be purchased to install the screen. The pocket under your bose radio is a single din opening so nothing needs to be modified

Can this be installed in the ceiling like metalic97gxe, and have it flip out? (I do have a sunroof by the way) I dont have the money to replace BOSE, and was wondering if I hook up a PS2 to it, could I run sound through my BOSE speakers?

hey, i may be interested in this group deal. However, I'm just curious on how the install goes, as far as how the sound connects from the lcd screen to the output speakers. Also, do you have more specifications on the lcd screen? How is the screen powered on? Would I have to tap the power/ground from the head unit power harness?

do any of you know the viewing angle percentage and the resolutions?

for example---a monitor can have a 80% viewing angle...7000 X 900 resolutions just to throw numbers out there...

basically i wanna know the specifications....

Wow, OK well this deal has had alot of questions asked, and alot of questions answered. I have even spoken with some of you on the phone, which has been great!!! However, you will probably notice that I haven't answered some of the questions like how do we install these screens, what extra do we need to install, whats the resolution, what's the resolution. Partly because these questions have been asked all over the org and I have answered them Many times before in the previous group deals and in the audio forum. So, not trying to sound like an A**hole but, In the words of sprintmax.......Search!!!!

Actually, the screen has been installed by people several different ways, epoxy behind the factory trim, screw, stuffed it in because of this i don't want to give definitive instructions on how the install goes. I think my previous customers can attend to how good the screen looks, how easy the install is and how great the viewing angle is!! Yes, as said once before, unfortunately the screen doesnt have resoulution specs with it and I've even called the manufacturer directly and havent recieved a straight answer so, Lite, I cant give you an exact answer. Sorry. All I can say is the screen is a great bang for the buck!!! Thats why it has caught on!!!

For those worried about viewing angle and resolution, don't be! No one here will be disappointed with the resolution or viewing angle. I just installed mine, and I can't believe how awesome the screen is. E-mail with questions if you want.

alright kool...now will i be able to adjust the brightness? what else can i adjust and where exactly is the input for the dvd player i wanna hook up 2 it? is it behind the monitor? on the side? as long as it's not in plain view...

u can adjust the tint, sharpness. and i forget what else. the input for the dvd or ps2 is behind the monitor it`s a yellow rca input. very easy to hookup, i`m running a ps2 looks great. i`ll take pics tomm. it`s raining alot in n.y. and i don`t feel like getting wet.
