How loud compared w/ the SP?

Yes it does sound like a good deal, but how does it sound. Is it like the Apex'i WS? or the SP?

I just bought a 3rd Gen SP today. $520 shipped

 

According to the Greddy site the SP and Evo are virtually the same. They say the evo is 1-1.5db louder, which is undetectable by the human ear. Unfortunately I can't offer you a first hand comparison.

 

I went to a local distributor, whom promply called Greddy themselves, and they said that they don't make the EVO for the 95-99's.. but clearly on that website it says that they do make them for 99's... Hm what gives.

Despite all, I would probably get the SP this summer

 

EVO's fit 99's .. they just don't fit 95-98

 

The SP muffler also sits at an angle I believe.

 

i know this question has probably been asked before, but will it directly bolt onto a 2k2 SE? i was looking on the website and noticed that it said for the 99 on GLE. are they the same a33 chassis? oh, and also on the website, the price was $503.20 shipped. we're only saving $3.20 on this groupdeal? just curious....someone please answer my questions, i would greatly appreciate it. thanks!

quick question on this exhaust...is the piping made from mild steel? if so, what's it coated with? if it's not coated with anything, it'll rust in like 2-3 years, right? how 'bout the muffler, all stainless right? the piping mild steel on that or stainless as well? let me know. i'm interested.

Truflipper, I would suggest you contact the vendor, AIE, or Greddy with your questions. They would be able to answer them the most accurately. I could tell that this fit my 2k3 and will fit your 2k2.
