I spoke to the contact again just now and this is what he said to me:
He called KYB and the latest price is $220 for the complete set plus shipping. However, KYB currently has just 2 sets of GR-2's available for the 2000-2001 Maxima. It would be another 2 weeks before they actually have more in stock for the bulk sale. Guys, we are looking at a good 4 weeks at least. 2 weeks for KYB to have 10 sets + then organize the bulk sale + then ship them to the contact + and you finally getting them. Sorry for the not so good news. I guess this was too good to be true to some degree.

I'm out, I guess I'll be getting the Tokico struts for just like $50 more. They are better than the KYB anyways, but with a deal like this I couldn't pass it by. Dammit this sucks, I only really wanted to spend like $220 for shipping and all.
Hey guys, I spoke with the seller as of March 12, 4:30 PST and he says at the price of $240, after all orders are put in, he can have them asap. Earlier posted was that he only had 2 sets on hand, but with the new price, he can order more sets and have them within 2 weeks. To those that are on the list, if you want me to remove you let me know since there are others who still want it. But at the price of 240, its at least 60-70 under other distributors. Thanks guys.. lets get this deal finished!

Just a note for the so cal guys. I just talked to boomer to see when I can try to pick them up and he says to just get in touch with him in about 2 weeks. He says he should have them by then. Just have to sit and be patient for now. I was hoping to get one of the 2 sets he supposedly had.

OKay just got off the phone with Boomer. He told me that the first ten people who call two weeks from Friday will get the GR-2s. So I guess everyone that is not in the top ten don't get any. Not really fair, but I guess just everyone just call and we'll see who can get them cause it's no way to say no you can't have any unless teddibear tells him what people already have reserved a set and not to sell to anyone else.
I have a 2002 and I'm getting them. Just look at every other strut out there that fits all 5th gen maximas. Why would this ONE be different. I just don't think people have updated their sites.

Fellas, I have found a distributor in Cali that is going to do this group deal for us. He told straight and upfront we need a minimum of 15 for the sale. I take the 10 from here plus those who wants in can get this deal too. Price will be $280 including shipping and he can start shipping them out probably on Tuesday (3/18). I am going to have more information in a few but PM please so I can get the number I need. This is the best deal I have found so far. Let me know fellas. PM me telling in You are in. I will require a deposit to place the order but more information on the formalities in a minute.
