POSSIBLE AE Kit for 2002 & 2003!

I am negotiating for a company to possibly make an Anniversary Edition (AE) kit to properly fit the 2002 and 2003 Maxima's. This is in a very preliminary stage, however the gentleman that I am talking to has asked me to get a feel for how many people may be interested. With that said, I know like to know how many people would be interested in such a kit if it was available?

I think most everyone would agree that there is no nice front lip for the 2k2 models. BUT, I don't know if they will all agree to a AE lip. I know there was a lot of interest when stillen "said" they were making a front lip for the 2k2s, but who knows.

To be honest, I think people MAY prefer a stillen lip to the AE lip, BUT the question is will there ever be a stillen aero lip for the 2k2?????

I agree with you, however I personally do not like the touring lip Stillen offers. I do like the AE, but they do not have it on their near future "road map", and when they do come out they will be STEALIN price (ofcourse).
If anything this place may only make a front lip.

Preliminary Pricing!

I just got off the phone with the company, and I got some preliminary pricing. Keep in mind that this is very preliminary.

They are going to concentrate on only making the FRONT LIP which will be fiberglass and it should cost around $249.

I agree with you totally - I HATE THE TOURING LIP. In fact I tried the Ethan thing and bought a 2k1 front aero lip from Stillen and TRIED to make it fit, it didn't work.

Like I posted in my other thread I WILL BUY a front aero/ae lip from who every makes it first. I pretty sure most of the 2k2 owners would say the same thing too.

Let's get this thing going!!!

I amvery opposed to the idea of a AE style front lip made of fiberglass, i would definetly prefer urethane. my car is dropped and i need the flexibility of urethane.

This is a small company and to have a urethane kit made would not be cost effective for them. I agree with you that urethane would be better, however I would be able to deal with the fiberglass.

With all that said,Put me down for one.(even though it will be fabricated out of fiberglass rather than urethane)I need a front lip for my 2003.
