GD: XD5 5100K Bulbs--Why pay PIAA prices?

Those looking for light bulb upgrades take a look at the pricing that I have negotiated with a vendor I've been dealing with for the past 2 years. These bulbs are amazing.

He has agreed to discount the price from what is on his website if I can get 10-15 individuals interested. The pricing is as follows:

Here is the price for 10-15 sets
XD5 Brand

H1 100W: $18.80

H3 100W: $18.70

H4 100/90W: $19.50

H7 100W: $19.80

9004 100/80W: 19.40

9005 100W: $19.50

9006 80W: $19.50

9007 100/80W: 19.50

I have a 98 SE, which bulbs would I need? Also, anyone have these bulbs? Are they as good as the PIAA? Any feedback? If they're as good, (or at least I wont have to replace them every 3 months). I would like a pair, but I dont know which ones. I want stock wattage, dont wanna burn out my harnesses.

High & Low Beam=9004
Fog Lights=H3

These bulbs are better than PIAA in my opinion. I use to have PIAAs and after switching to the XD5s there was no comparison. The XD5s blew the PIAAs out of the water. Check out my homepage under the lighting section. The vendor has a 45 day replacement policy if they blow. I had my one fog light blow about 2 weeks ago and just sent him back the blown bulb and he sent me another one. He has auctions on ebay all the time but the prices I can get on the Group Deal is a lot cheaper than the auction prices. If you have anymore quesitons email me @ y_not411@yahoo.com.

Will these be a direct replacement for my lights and everything? Can I just plug these in? The wattage isn't too high is it. I don't want to blow any fuses, harness, wires, etc. If these won't damage my headlights or wires, then count me in. Is that price per set? It's not 1 bulb for 19.50 is it? Just checkin...

Answers to some questions...

They are direct replacements. No harness is needed. Just found out what replacement bulb you need. They do come in pairs. Who would sell just one bulb. Hey if you have any doubts than don't purchase them.

For those with 5th Gens. I have a 2K2. I upgraded my high beams which are the 9005s and my fog lights which are H3s. Click on my home page and then click on Page 4-Lighting.

You are pressing your luck when it comes to high wattage light bulbs. For some, it won't burn your harness but others it will.

I also would like to know the longevity on these bulbs when they are used in Maxima.

Isn't the stock 9004 only 65W/45W?

How much wattage are the 9004? ynot411 said you don't need to upgrade your harnesses with these bulbs, so there shouldn't be a problem right? These are direct wattage replacements I'm guessing. If everything is kosher, put me down for H3 (98 Foglight?) too.

The 9004 XD5 bubls are 100/80W. I think the stock is only 65W/45W, which leads me to think that the bulbs might not last that long.

Answers to questions

Answer to DR0832
Note: Every bulb has its life, we can only provide 45 day warranty while other sellers don't have any warranty. The tested average life for XD5 bulbs are as following:

H1: 1800 days/10 minutes per day
H3: 2400 days/10 minutes per day
H4(=9003): 1500 days/15 minutes per day (low beam). 1000 days/10 minutes per day (high beam)
H7: 1900 days/15 minutes per day
9004(=HB1): 1200 days/10 minutes per day (low beam). 900 days/10 minutes per day (high beam)
9005(=HB3): 3000 days/10 minutes per day
9006(=HB4): 2000 days/15 minutes per day
9007(=HB5): 1200 days/10 minutes per day (low beam). 900 days/10 minutes per day (high beam)

Answer to Juki5536
Why XD5 bulbs are the best in the market?
Answer:
1, XD5 bulbs are made of fused quartz glass so they can produce high generating power even though they are just smaller. they have excellent heat shock-resistance and they won't be broken even though they have water on their surface when they light on. XD5 bulbs also prevent any damage to the lens and wiring harness because their newest design .

2, XD5 bulbs have a longer life because they contain Xenon and Krypton gases. 2 to 4 times longer life than other bulbs.

3, They have high performance quartz bulb and new base concept.

Synthesis of most successful bulbs worldwide
Easy to mount because of its newly designed plastic base
Precise fitting of bulb in base
Serve full range of application (fog, low beam, high beam)

Any other questions email me @ y_not411@yahoo.com

I'm IN for 9004 and H3.

People who are afraid that these bulbs might melt your harness, you can get upgraded ones here only 15 bucks and make sure the melting won't happen -

Well, PIAA 9004 bulbs have 85/115 wattage. I think these have an output of 100/80. I hope you don't have to upgrade the wiring harness. I might get it...only 15 bucks. we see what happens. I just wanna make sure they dont blow, but ynot says we dont have to upgrade the harnesses. im still in for 9004 AND H3

For 4th gen, you will need to do it yourself. You can't buy them anywhere.

HOPE THESE ARE BETTER

I had the XD3's in H4 and H3 for the fogs all were dead within 4 weeks of buying them. I was not a hapy camper. They were nice on low beam but crap on high beam. All I have to say was that was very diappointed with the life. 4 weeks that Bulls*it.
