Request: GD on brakes (again.. i know)

i missed out on a couple of GD's due to $$$, or the lack thereof. of course now i need to replace brakes and am thinking about just doing an upgrade, seeing as the dealer wants 1250 for 1 left rear caliper, l/r rear lines, l/r rear rotors, and pads. not to mention the 4 hours of labor.

if anyone can set something up, that would be awesome.

please,,, please!!!

1200 clams -that's hideous! You're lucky....

you have a Gen4, you have LOTS of options. Fastbrakes (fastbrakes.com) has two kits for your car, one at less than 750 bucks using the Wilwood Dynalite caliper, which is fine for your (lighter) Gen4. Precision Brakes ditto has at least two kits for your car, also starting at ~800 or so clams.

You could also try to get the OEM caliper at a salvage yard and merely swap your rotors for Brembo blanks....the Gen4's were no way as persnickety as the Gen 5's (mine) as pertains to brakes so....you dont have to go the mucho $$$$$$ way to fix this.

Good luck!
