Is anyone else going to pay???

Come on guys, I have lived up to my part as well as three other org members. Why commit to something if you are not going to pay when it's time to pay. Group deals work better when they actually go through... This is my first group deal and I didn't expect to wait this long....

ToYLeT902 said he would be calling MaxxTuning today I believe. So as soon as we get word of that, we will be at 2 more. I think I might have to frame this clutch and call it "closest call" or "most risks taken".

NismoDrew91SE:
$235 plus shipping which really shouldn't be more than $18. Seeing as the next cheapest option is $275 plus shipping from MaxxTuning, After MaxxTunings $275, I think the next cheapest I've seen it was for $315.

Looks like I'm #8

I paid about an hour ago, but I'll wait until MaxxtuningUSA updates it to call it "official"

Ok guys, we absolutely need to finsih this thing ASAP. Its been a few weeks, and now my Max is out of comission. I'm driving the 68 Mustang with leaking wheel cylinders, a worn wheel bearing, extremely loose steering, and a power steering hose that likes to say hello to my exhaust manifold when I make right hand turns, oh, its the pressure one aswell.

On top of all of this, my mom just drove the mustang (ok, reparked it) 2 days ago and is now trying to "Forbid" me from driving it, lol.

Only MaxxTuning can say for sure, but if I recall from the 1st GD, 10 is the minimum. Take the plunge!

Ten people is the limit as to when Maxtunningusa will ship out our clutches. If you want in, call up maxtunningusa and pay for the clutch and wait for one more person to pay. It would be great if you want a clutch, so this group deal wil finally go through

Yeah, I was kinda wondering myself how the aftermarket clutches will fit any 3rd, 4th, or 5th gen 5 speed maxima. But, when you order an OEM clutch there are different part #'s for each gens clutch.

The thing is people are saying that this clutch only grabs a little harder than stock and that makes me wonder if this clutch is for me since i have a 75shot and ruined a stock clutch already.

I will be running a 100-shot on this clutch, putting down well over 300tq. to teh wheels. I think it will hold fine, I have talked personally to swomeone who has it on there car and they say it grabs as hard as the ACT, the people that say it is soft are the ones with the stock replacement exedy clutch, not the one from this group buy.

No this clutch "has" a soft feel to the pedal, but it grabs way harder than the stock clutch, TRUST ME! I can squeal 4th gear no problem with my stock rims on, and I have no problem squealing 3rd with my 17's on with new tires. It is Definitely stonger than my stock clutch ever was! Don't worry about the nitrous, I dont think it will be a problem. By the way I have the clutch from this group deal, The Exedy Stage 1 Racing Clutch, not the ebay clutch.

I am glad to hear it grabs hard, I have the 85-shot on there now and am getting ready to put the 100+ shot in and go tune it on the dyno once I get this clutch installed and broken in, I sure hope it can handle it, Maxtunning claimed the clutch will hold 350ft/lbs., I will put that to the test.

I read a post about a guy leaving a pay both and flooring it from 2nd, and shifting into 3rd...he said he liked the way it grabed but it wasent a moster grab so yeah that tells me this clutch would be great for all motor, and possably nitrous....but turbo ??

it will grab, and it will not slip unless you are putting more power than it can handle down, and even then, I would say you are still ok, simply because manufactures tend to rate on the safe side of things. I would worry more about driving styles, and shifting into 3rd, if its a "monster grab" you might have a monster break in your tranny.
I'd reccomend it to those who want a good clutch that wont easily allow you to brake your transmission, thats easier to drive, and has lots of holding capacity, before you get to a puck style.

Another thing guys.

I have a very serious problem here. I need my clutch now. wanted it 3 weeks ago. I am on the edge of just calling up MaxxTuning and paying him the $40 extra.

I hate to say it, but I will give this GD 2 days until I drop myself from it and pay full price. I do not want to do this, its why I've waited over 3 weeks, but I just cannot wait anymore. I do not have a car to drive. I cannot drive my Mustang as it is not road worthy and will probably get me killed. Everyone probably knows this already, but I appreciate those who have already paid, but I need this thing now, and am at the end of my limits.

PezKing4 is in a similiar situation, So I highly suggest to these others to get the ball rolling. You made a commitment to this group buy, follow threw.
