no problem with wiring, more with the mounting of it.

Loosen the brackets that hold in the climate control, storage compartment, etc. and slide the screen into the opening. There is a small lip that runs across the top of the screen. Use this lip to get the monitor perfectly level in the opening, lining it up with the top edge of the double-din space. Then tighten the brackets, which will hold the screen securely in place by pressure. Kind of hard to explain but pretty easy to do.

Got the DVD and screen installed today but am having a little problem.
Hey Redmax:
Quick question, when I have the screen turned on and hit the power button (to turn it off), the screen says "EXT ON' and will not turn off the monitor.
How do I turn off the monitor without turning off the car?
Thanks,
Dave

I just got my sceen and i have a few questions...
Where do I connect the Orange + wire? and there is a red sensor type led in the screen, is that side on top or bottom?
And what is the greay piece of metal for?
WOOHOO! i'm excited!

orange is considered ignition, red is positive, black is ground. The sensor goes on the bottom. If you connect red and orange together, put them on a switch to a constant power source, thenm anytime you hit the switch, the screen will come on. other wise you can turn it off to a blackk screen. Also the metal bracket is to release the screen from its headrest shroud.
