Who Is Interested In OBX-CatBack Exhaust 2000-up!!!!

Okay, here is the deal... I worked a price out with an outside vendor. He is going to make an order for OBX tommorow. If we can get 10 buyers, we can get the deal at $285 Shipped to your door.
This is a full catback Exhaust...

Here is the link to a picture of the exhaust:
http://www.obxracingsports.com/perfo...=1&subCat2ID=2

If you scroll down, you will notice that the retail for the Catback is $589.00. But at the Org. we never pay retail...

And one more thing, the Catback Application says 99-02 Maxima, But OBX made a mistake and should have put 00-03 Maxima. Go figure. And for those who are worried about fitment problems. A fellow org. member, don't remember his name, but this exhaust on his 2002 Maxima without any problems.

So if your interested, only serious people, post that your are ready to buy this product.

UPDATE ON THE LIST FOR THIS EXHAUST:
1. O2'maxed-out (which is me!)
2. BLKMAX005SPD
3. ToasterMax
4. 2k1maxgle
5. MaXiMized MAX02
6. ToYLeT902 (maybe)
7. 151 (maybe)

I am the one with it on my car. I will get pics of it next week. It fist great and sounds great. No rice at all, unless you dont like the tip being 4.5" although on our car it is not that big and looks good. The muffler is mostly hidden under the car and you can only see it from certain angles.

$285 is a Great price. I paid $226 to my door but that was from Ebay Auction. So if you can get 10 of them from a dealer then I say go for it. I have had (on other cars) Greddy, Tanabe x 2, and Apexi on my other cars. This system is in the same league, I don't need to pay for Greddy's name just so they can advertise to the Honda Community. This OBX system was very well made and it was Engineered perfectly, I was very suprised, I thought I was buying just some cheapy system.

Picking up this system allows you to have $$$ left over to pick up those springs you wanted too.

$285 is a good price - i contacted the seller that dblrr900 bought his from and was giving it out at that price as well.

The OBX looks almost, if not exactly, like the Greddy. Btw, dblrr900 did you get the one with the round/tubular muffler? When i contacted the distributor they said the one's for Maxima's uses the oval muffler similar to the one's that some 4th genners have.

good deal. but i want an exhuast like what cattman's looks like. i like the dual-tip look. obx makes a dtm style muffler, but i don't like that look on maximas.

soundmike - mine looks just like the Greddy. One thing is the tip comes out lower from the muffler and not in the center of the unit. I like this because the muffler isn't as visible under the car.

krazyd - this is not a bad deal just to get the B-pipe. You can sell off the rear section here and pick up the Apexi rear section or get the cattman rear if you like.

Thanks dblrr900 for you kind input... its actually from your commments that I wanted this exhaust... and the seller on Ebay had about 4 or 5 auctions for this same exhaust, but they all sold over $290... and one sold for $340... I think you got the best BID... I tried to get this lower, but $285 shipped to your door is the BEST i can do... i was just trying to help out the Org. community... I am really not the one to go and wait a year for the price to drop like $10 or even $20 dollars... Seller gots to make there end of the share too...

If someone wants this Exhaust, let me know right now... I can see if we can get the Exhaust for a good price, but it won't be $285 Shipped... I know I can get it alone for $315 shipped...
If anyone is still interested let me know...

Here is a post of another 2002 Max installing the OBX Exhaust:
"New Toys!!! quote:

Just got some stuff installed in my car this weekend. LOng story made short,I met some guy at a car show with a tight a$$ 03 altima and was complimenting his car. He liked my car as wondering where I lived. Come to find out he lives in the same town as me in South Jersey and he works for Team Nissan Service dept. He told me that if I ever had any work that need to be done to give him a call. I did just that and now have my polished Injen Intake, OBX full cat, Arospeed FSTB, and timing advance done. Next is springs and struts. He recommended eibachs mids because anything too low like tein would scrape too much and be more headache than good. He does all the work for free but I hook him up. Who else to work on my max than a Nissan certified tech. By the way the car feels freaking awesome and the growl from the injen and cat arouse me and anybody in my car . I am so happy I finally found some sort of a hook up. By the way I have a satin blue (baby blue) 02 max. I will try to get pics soon."

I still think $300 is a great price for this setup. It is still over $200 less than a high "name brand" exhaust. Maxed-out, I would just get the system for 300 or keep watching ebay. I doubt you will get 10 people to buy in. The lemmings want to buy what the magazines say to buy, so let them.

GET THIS EXHAUST!!!!I posted on the 5th gen forum about this exhaust. I got is on e-bay for about $200. It was shipped about two to three days later and was installed the next day. When I first opened the box I was thinking damn this looks big but when I put it on it looked perfect. The guy who installed it was in love with the look and sound of it as well. It was a great porice for a full catback system the sounds awesome. No droning even with my Injen intake. You can hardley even tell I have an intake and cat done until I step on the gas then it's lights out. $280 shipped is a great deal for a great product I love it and if you order it you will feel the same way I do.

$285 shipped... if none of you want to cough up the money, then SOLO I will fly... and my vendor is not going to order until i tell him how many sets, which looks like its going to be ME and Me only...

And one more thing to the ones searching on Ebay... Nobody at the time is selling the OBX Catback Setup for the 2000-up Max anymore... I just checked...

I have to agree with abdiddy.... This is the best system for the money. It's all STAINLESS STEEL and it fits perfect. Got mine off ebay for $260 and received it in 2 days. Local muffler shop put it on in no time flat. Those who buy this set-up will not be disappointed.

well,,, first of all...we dont have 8 more buyers for a total of 10 needed to get this price?.... we have to work to get 8 more willing buyers... spread the word...

P.S.... you can't beat the price for what you get...a full catback exhaust for almost half the price of a Greddy...just look at the pics...its all stainless steel

oh to BLKMAX005SPD: if we don't get the 8 buyers soon, i will see if he will get us a good price, but it won't be $285shipped, it might be $300 at the best for two... i'll see what happens...
