By the way everyone.. this groupdeal is for Genuine Nissan headlamps (etched 'NISSAN' on the headlamp) and NOT for the aftermarket ones. I can get the aftermarket headlamps for much less, but the quality is inferior (from lens composition to the plastic braket piece). I wouldn't dare risk my company's reputation behind any inferior product.

hey ange, my buddy has a 97 Maxima. he wants a set of the Cefiros too. do you think it would be too much work to install the Cefiro headlights in the 97 maxima? would it affect the grille at all or no? or any body work needed? let me know. if it's not too much trouble then he wants in also on the GD for the Cefiros

a few questions
Are the lenses made of glass or some kind of high strength plastic?
In the modifications, it was mentioned that the grille needs to be "remounted". Exactly, how extensive is this? Does it vary whether you have a 95-96, 97-99, or a Trenz grille add-on?
Is it a clean, unstressed and flush mounting throughout?
Does the beam repositioning mechanism operate similarly to the OEM lights, and are there any limitations?
Lastly, will there be full access to all of the bulbs, or do some items in the engine compartment require removal?
Thanks!
(thinking REAL hard about it... )

As for remounting the grille, you lose grille support points once you remove the black plastic piece cover along with the stock headlamps. Just cut some brackets (homemade) and line it up properly before drilling it to the frame to secure it. You will also need to make two brackets from the bottom frame to hold down the grille. It is the same process for any grille you decide to use.
Beam repositioning is similar to the OE lamps.
What bulbs?
HAZMAT: Yes, direct fit for 97 i30. It comes with Philips Halogen h4 bulbs. Do you have h4 in your i30? If not, you will need to rig some wiring and make the conversion.

No H4 in the 96-99 I30s...its easy to change the harness connector though. You can buy H4 connectors from Autozone or any auto store for a few bucks each. Buy some butt connectors...go home, clip off the old ones as close to the connector as possible, and one by one, re-attach the factory wires to the new harness (in same order...three wires) using the butt connectors.

Complete H4 8000K HID conversion from stock 9004 harness (byebye)
I work at a bodyshop, so I had help with these projects.
I'm closing the groupdeal on Friday. Everyone that has shown interest on and off this thread will receive an email this week regarding the first payment installment.

Hey Ange, is there any way that I can get these faster if I pay additional shipping perhaps? I really need a set of headlamps (both mine are broken) but I can't afford to wait a month to have them shipped. Let me know if it's possible to ship them EMS or something else so that I can get them quicker. I can pay 100% upfront too. THANKS!

Re: G/D: Cefiro One Piece Headlight #2 (w/ H4 HID Option)
Hello,
I noticed that the Cefiro One-Piece Headlights that 97MaxGurl (Angie) is selling do NOT come with Harness Connectors. When I replace my OEM headlights on my 97 i30t with these new Cefiro Headlights what Harness Connectors will I need? If I don't need anything will it be as easy as "Plug & Play" where I just remove the OEM headlights and all the wires are already there waiting to be plugged into the new Cefiro Headlights.
Finally, I live in Florida and the Humidity is terrible. My main fear is condenstaion build up in these Ceifro Headlights, which I have now in my OEM lights. Anybody have any predicitons as to how long the new Cefiro Headlights should last without clouding up? Thanks for the future replies.

I believe it is plug and play with 98 i30.
There shouldn't be any conversion required because your stock headlamps should already be H4.

The headlight is NOT direct bolt-on replacement for the 95-99 Maxima body, however, with modification, it will fit.
