Honestly, I prefer to stay away from tires, it will be cheaper if you get em locally or from Tirerack and less hasstle for me... Thanks, Henrik

Re: GB 2nd Round 18" HP EVO Wheels

I was just trying to do some research on the web for HP Evo and found this link. www.wheelguyz.com

They are selling 18x7.5 Hyper Silver w/Polish Lip for $979, includes tires mounting & balancing. Free Shipping. 1 Year Warranty. I just gave them a quick call they told me the tires would be Kumho 711. I just spoke to the guy for 30 seconds, so I am sure I can push for better tires... Can you beat this?

Can anyone tell me about the quality of these rims? I'm assuming that by price they are not as good as Volk's but perhaps better than say AR or ADR...correct me if i'm wrong. I think they look hot, but I don't want to get a cheaply made rim for these mean streets in DC. Also, is the GD available in 19's?

I still "preffer" not to do tires unless I "really have to", because I have to have it installed and balanced by a local tire shop and it's simply time consuming and shipping hasstle for me.

Just for everyones information, the center caps for the wheels do not fit. Our axles are too long. In the front and the big nut on the back axle sticks out too much. So if you get these the center caps will not fit. Henrik can you contact the manufacture and see if they have some centercaps will fit because it looks kind of ugly. I just installed my wheels today AND CAN YOU PLEASE WRITE ME A RECIPT! I e-mailed you!

Thanks you, I appriciate that info, I've already addressed the issiue with the distributor. (the solution is to add a 5mm spacer from any Autoparts or wheelshop so the caps will fit as is).
Email your info incl. your address: HenrikGal@Aol.com for the invoice you requested please. Later, Henrik

The wheels are coming from Florida, so you won't be saving any if you decide to pick up... if that's what you had in mind bro.

Here are some pictures of the wheels!

Thread with pictures

The centercaps will not work! 5mm spacers are not safe for the car, puts more stress on studs and axles. You would have to go to your nissan dealer and spend 160 dollars for 20 NISMO studs plus the price of the spacers, you looking at more than 200 dollars. I think it is because he sent 38 millimeter wheels instead of 40.

They said that they could not work on the tires for me if they had spacers but how much are spacers? If not I am going to grind down the axle bolts in the front and grind down the big lock nuts in the back.

It's for the longer studs not stronger. The spacer will limit the stud length.

About $5-$15/each for 5mm spacers... most tire/wheels shop or Auto stores have em.

Any 17" wheel deals coming up Henrik?

17x8, 30 offset would be awesome, especially if they clear Z32 turbo calipers.
