The extended Frankencar GD

I think the suggestion to make the new thread for the GD is right, so here it is. As most of you know, the GD got pushed back till this month due to Frankerncars lack of supplies at the time. Well I lost track of who is still interested in the GD so I aim to start the count over again to get the exact amount of people who want in on the GD.

What is the price with A'Pexi filter and will they be able to ship as soon as the GD ends or earlier? I do not want to wait for 2 months for a product that I paid for 2 months earlier if it is because they are out of stock of a part. Otherwise, I am interested.

Ok so lets say i want the K&N and the red midpipe... that's $158 on frankencar.com. How much will my discount be in this GD?

If we get 20 people, I think the discount is 15$. Don't take my word for it though.

I'm also interested, but not if I'm Paypaling them the money today and getting my intake in November. That's BS.

Like I said, I would be happy to do this as long as I get my intake within a normal amount of time, i.e. Frankencar people have the right parts and the right amount of parts to ship as soon as all orders from the GD are processed. Otherwise, I will probably go with an Injen or contact Frankencar myself. Not trying to sound like a **** or anything, but I am being realistic. No one wants to wait 2+ months between paypalling and intake arrival at door step.

You can put me down if Frankencar people have the right parts and the right amount of parts to ship as soon as all orders from the GD are processed. If not I'll wait as well, so keep us posted.

I would like one as well, full system w/ Apexi filter, but don't want to wait for too long, so If Frankencar
ship as soon as all orders from the GD are processed
then count me in.
If not I'll wait as well, so keep us posted

Does anyone know what's the size of Apexi filter that comes with the kit, is it 3" just like K&N or smaller? I remember someone mentioning that Apexi filter were smaller and just wanted to make sure.

I'm interested if deal is still on. BTW is there any way to pay besides paypal - I've never used paypal. Also, my max is a 2K1 and I'm interested in the polished one with the Apexi filter.

hey guys I was wondering, the K&N filter... is it oiled or non-oiled? Because I heard there are problems with the oiled K&N with Maximas. I rather go with frankencar and k&N, its cheaper and no big difference. Im in if this goes through dude

All K&N filters are oiled, period. Some people have had problems with blown MAFs, but far more people use the K&N filter with no problems whatsoever. I've had a K&N drop-in filter in my car for 4k miles with no problems. I tend to think the problems arise when people clean their filters and then over-oil them before putting them back in. Or if you happen to get an over-oiled filter out of the box. If you're that worried about it just go with the Apexi dry filter.

BTW...the OEM paper filter is oiled as well.

Well, I'm OUT.
I got a chance to check out hct67's WeaponR dragon intake and it will be here in 2 days. This thing sounds great and feels like it adds a nice lil punch @ 3700 rpm.

I think as soon as these become in stock it won't take long
for the list to be filled. I just wish we could get some kind of update. ::cough cough::

F it, I'm tired of waiting for this guy to let me know when the GD will start. Back to school and I got no time to waste waiting for this BS. I apologize to all that participated in the GD and hope this event doesnt discourage further GD's on the forum.
