Mcculloch Hid Kit Group Buy

I have the opportunity to offer everyone a good deal on HID kits. With the changes in laws regarding HID sales, there is some uncertainty as to how longer I will be able to offer these kits. It remains to be seen how difficult it will be to buy HID Kits in the near future. Furthermore, the kits I am offering are genuine McCulloch HID Conversion Kits. A name that is recognized and trusted in the HID market.
I have a connection in asia, and I do not stock the kits so they are mailed directly straight from him to your door. At the close of the group deal all paid orders will be shipped out EMS and will arrive within one week. All that I need to make this group deal happen is 10 orders.
You can refer to my website here>> http://www.angelfire.com/ultra/brightlightz/ for pictures of the various color temperatures. I will accept money order, cash (I am located in Brooklyn, NY), or paypal (if the buyer pays paypal fees). The cut off date for this group deal is August 14th at midnight EST and remember I only need a minimum of 10 orders to make this happen. I have listed the prices below. I can also get group deal pricing for individual bulbs if anyone is ineterested.
All kits include a 30 day warranty on the bulbs and a one year warranty on the ballasts. Remember shipping is included and due to the fact that they are shipped directly from my distributor local pick up can not be offered. Email me at uhohitzmikey@aol.com or call me at (917)224-2868 with any questions you might have.

yes, I HAD them.

The mcculloch hi/low kit I had on my 2k maxima worked as follows:

-The bulb remains only a single filament. But the h4 bulb has a butterfly/winged shielding around the bottom half-thus shielding from bulb reflecting glare.

-When the high beams are applied the shielding opens revealing the bottom half of the bulb output. From that, the additional light reflects off the bottom of the headlight housing shining up - creating the HIGH beam effect.

Sorry I dont have pics. but please visit www.mccullochhid.com or www.proxenon.com to see what I mean.

I HAD THEM, BUT SOLD 'EM. LOVED 'em and STILL MISS 'em.

---------I am very tempted to buy em again--------GOOD PRICES!-------

gxe2se - which kit did you have??

I am looking for something that is bright and looks like the the factory ones so I don't attract too much attention. I want the H4's Hi/Low kit but dont know if I want the 5300k or the 6500k. Does the 5300k have any blue, or only when it first warms up. Sorry guys I am new to this and trying to learn as much as I can with it.

Here are some pics from Anthony. I think these pics were taken in the daytime so they don't look quite as nice as they do at night. I just installed them over the weekend so I haven't had a chance to take some pics. I'm thinking about my fogs now..

gxe2se said he had the hi/low kit and it looks like that kit is the 6500k. So I am assuming the pictures are of the 6000k single beam kit? Just wanted to know the difference between the 6000k and the 6500k. I do really like the 6000k but I want hi/low.

answer

Both my kits, mcculloch for 9004 and H4, were 6000k. Regarding the light output, the color is white with a hint of baby blue - nothing crazy blue like 8000k. I LOVED THEM!

"amixam98: - how do you like them?... nice right! opinions welcomed"

At the time, the 5300k kit was sold out. I believe the 5300k kit is more for light ouput vs. looks/color. From what I could tell from uhohitzmikey website, the 5300k looks factory white(~maybe slightly halogen/yellow in color~). But output looks cleaner brighter and more striking than stock halogens .

NOTE: If the bulb (5300k) is coated like 6000k.. (dont know if it is)..then maybe you might have some color.

"uhohitzmikey : maybe you can shed some light on this... pun intended!" - regarding bulbs, coating, and 6000k/6500k

I haven't had a chance to enjoy them as much since I just installed them over the weekend. But so far from what I see, I love them. Thanks for everything bro.

Thanks for all the info Anthony, my last question is did you have the hi/low kit? I am looking for someone who had it and how they liked it. Thanks again.

sorry guys...im sure youve known about the blackout so ive just been able to get online. to answer a few questions i really dont approve of bulb coating since it kills the purpose of hids because it decreases light output dramatically. therefore, none of my kits have coated bulbs. all the color that comes is from the gases inside the bulb. as far as the h3 application is concerned it is available. but currently i have it available only in 6000k. later on it will be available in other colors. have i answered all the questions? so is anyone buying?

I'm very interested in a 5300k 9004 kit, assuming the buyer of my subs/amp follows through. Also, are you still selling for the GD price or am I too late?

how come NO ONE has asked about the BEAM PATTERN!!!
mostly, I've heard that the color is cool, but visibility is CRAP!!!

as much as I enjoy being cool (it's not that hard...lol), I also
enjoy being safe and enjoying the ride!!!

Eh, doesnt beam pattern depend on the headlight housing? I don't see how one basic HID kit will differ from another unless it has some sort of shielding. With the 4th gen housing the light isnt particularly focused but everything in front of you gets lit up.

makes sense, but, I've heard from some folks who have HIDs that
the visibility sucked, even though the lights look cool...that's
why I would like to know that the beam pattern can be maintained
with these HIDs.

the beam pattern is 100% in tact. these produce up to 300% more light than regular halogens. visibility is great on the kit. you will definetly notice a huge difference. the kits you speak of arent plug and play kits. people chop up OEM kits and put adapters on them. those are the kits you have to watch out for.
