New parts in glass

Hey can you do either the stillen kit (2001) or the AE kit in glass? I guess you would just need a set to make the molds, then lay em' up right? I like the AE kit, but it is pricey for plastic, the stillen is ok, but paint on urathane is expensive, I cannot find anyone to do it for less than $900, and that is installing myself. I like glass becasue I can fix that, as well as paint it without having to bake the thing. Actually a combo of the two would be better, the Stillen rear is awesome, the side skirts on the AE are better than the Stillen ones, Front lip is ok either way. What do you think?

I second that idea! I think a lot of us 2002-2003 guys would jump on that, I know I would.

ok, we can definitely look into that. Let's get the other things out of the way first though. I already started a basic layout design for a whole bunch of other things. The best thing is that I'm making a certain amount at once. Which means, that if I make 20 of them, and each one sells, there'll only be 20 of you with the product. Limited. - Jitek

You know, make it as if it came from Nissan like that. It's kind of hard to explain. I'm working on 1st gen altimas with that right now and once it's done, I'll post pictures. - Jitek
Jitek, I think I touched bases with you before about the sub enclosures when you first mentioned them. I'd drive up there, if need be, for you to get a mold together for a 3rd gen. However, kinda keep in mind that I want to retain my ability to get to my spare tire if need be.

For a third gen maxima? If you can find at least five other people that want them, I can get them started and hook you up with a free set. That goes for anyone. If you can get me at least 5 people that want them and you live in the chicagoland area, let me use your car and you get a free one. Yes, FREE!!! - Jitek

custom trunk

rear window spoiler, definitely
hood scoop for intake, most definitely
5th gen all the way...sorry to all those antiques out there

heres an idea. how about constructing a subwoofer box using cubic footage from the spare tire well, that way the subs lie flat on the floor of the trunk. i've done it, but my MDF box isn't constructed completely solid. I was looking for something more....airtight hehe. CTi_2003, i've emailed you a picture of my setup. Let me know what you think....

A great idea for all us 95-96's would be a Carbon Fibre Front Lip....
Someone mentioned it somewhere else in these forums and alot of people were interested, since we can save money on painting....
