Can you tell us which model for the Audiovox and Kenwood plug and play tuner? Also, does this include the antenna or is that extra? Finally, would there be anything else we would need to hook it up to our factory Bose stereo?

Thanks
Jeff

You will be able to choose a plug and play tuner (Audiovox or Kenwood)

You will be able to choose 1 docking kit (Home or Car)

You will have to pay for 6 months of service up front ($77.70) and then you will be billed the remaining $77.70 6 months later.

When you call, you MUST mention that Matt Keown is the employee who referred you. (Last name pronounced cowen)

If you would like, I will email the F&F form to you so you can read all the details first.

Just like last time, thanks for your support and enjoy Sirius!!!

Hey AltiMAX,

I've got the Kenwood Sirius-ready head unit, and have been looking to pick up the tuner and antenna (I think this is all I'd need). But everytime I got to my local Circuit City store, they tell me they're all out of stock and likely not getting more in because everyone is moving to the portable stuff. Is this correct? Thanks

I'm well aware of Sirius free offer for the tuner as long as you sign a contract. Thank You for informing the maxima.org community, however, nobody *MUST* mention your name. This offer is good for the public and anyone can get it without saying a word about you. So be gone advertiser.

2 quick questions: 1. Since this is available to anyone do I have to call Sirius or can I go to any place that sells Sirius stuff and get this? 2. If I have an Alpine HU that is "XM" ready will this stuff still work, and if so do I need anything other than the free stuff that they offer?

I can vouch for Matt and his service and parts...I have had the Audiovox unit for a few months now and it is the best thing since sliced bread...IMHO.

That's not true . . . due to the promotion they may have been low in stock. Usually they can tell you when they'll be getting them in from their respective warehouses. On average MY store will keep 2 or more in stock. All you'd need is purchase the antenna (Terk SIR3) and you'll get the tuner box for free.

Give the guy a break. I mean, he's nice enough to come on here and let us all know about the deal. Its not like its costing you anything more to mention his name and give him some credit. Without him most of us would probably have no clue about the deal, 'So be gone' with your negativity.

Thanks for your support! The offer ends on the 30th and the reason that I ask that you give my name is that there is an internal contest. If you have called and ordered and didnt give my name, please call back and tell them you know me.

Thanks again and email me with any questions!

Matt

I still need to buy an XM ready deck and XM antenna, correct? Then I can get the XM tuner alone, for free and get it activated?

I just have the factory BOSE in my car now.

This is the tuner kit which will work with any deck, XM ready or not - either via FM modulation or through your auxiliary-in port (if you have one)

Sorry if this sounds like a n00b question... but can I do either of that with the stock BOSE system from a 95 SE?

Thanks for your help.

Which receiver did you order? I asked for the Audiovox and they said that it would be 4 business weeks until they get stock of that, and then they will ship it out. As long as you have not been charged anything to your credit card, it shouldn't be a big deal.

The Kenwood stock has just been replenished however.

Yesterday was indeed the last day to get this deal. I used Matt Kewon's name as a referral. Hope it helps, Matt. Thanks for posting the deal.

Susan took care of me and she was exceptional as well, despite how busy they were on the last day.

Some guy initially picked up the phone and sounded quite ignorant and he just went away and then Susan picked up.

My tuner hasn't shipped yet I don't think... she said that there would be a 4-business week delay!!!
