Hyper Ground Kit.

Hey guys, I just finish fabricate my own Grounding Kit based on my Maxima 2001,
I'm going to install the kit today and see if every cable fit properly. My kit would consist of 6 or 8 ground cables, all made with either Power-Pro 4awg (1064 strands ) soft cable ( shinny black ) or OEM 4awg semi rigid cable ( only available in grey ).

The price for the 8 cables kit will be disclose later, the 2 extra cables would be use for grounding the alternator and the cat, yup I found there was a ground neer the catalyst, mine is broken so I need a little more time to figure the lenght, but let see first if there is interest.

The kit can be sold with copper connector or regular metallic connector ( I think it's nickel coated but not shure )

I can provide pics of my prototype as soon as someone tell me how to post the pics.

The 6 cables kit with copper connectors: 55$ US + shipping
The 6 cables kit with white metal connector: 45$ US + shipping

I used shrink wrap to seal the connector and the cable, and the cable look very good, I dont think the shrink wrap perfectly water sealed the cable but it make a nice finishing and definitely bring better protection.

As far as promess of better HP or torque I have no clue, but good grounding is better than rusty grounding.

I can be contacted by PM or andre@3diweb.com

Let me know what you think.

Cheers

Test ride...

Hello all, yesterday I install the prototype cable, it could have been much easier to install if I wouldn't have lost my 10mm socket, anyhow I installed 5 cables out of 6 . Today I'm going to install the 6th one and maybe 2 mores, ( alternator and the one near catalyst )

I went for a ride yesterday after the install, and the car is running very well, it was like in winter when the air is very cold so the car had strong acceleration ( I know it has nothing to do with but it felt like that ), it might be my bott dyno or some sort of suggestive disease that happend after I install mods, who know what's the physics there , I'm not a rocket scientist. All in all I readed so many threads about Hyper ground that I though of doing it and make the kit available for fairly cheap to other who dont want to spend the time to make their own.

Cheers

Are the ground points the same on the 5th gen as the 4th gen? Are all the wire runs the same length? If so I'll take a PowerPro set with copper connectors. How bout $65 for a 7 wire set (incl alternator cable)

Hey BEJAY, I have no idea if the 4th gen cable are the same lenght as the 5 th gen, since we have the same 3.0liter engine it might be similar but I'm shure some bracket must be locate at different place, we cant guess on this but anyhow I'm going to check if I can find local org member to test fit cuz I receive many demand for 2k2-3 and 4 th gen. For the price it should be all ok but let try to find the right lenght and ground spot. I'm going to post right away in the canadian forum.

I'll keep you informed, but drop me an e-mail at: andre@3diweb.com

Cheers
