Yes I'll comment too by saying I did receive mine already. I think my mom said it came last week, but since it's at home and I'm at school I don't have it installed. Why doesn't somebody post some pics of it installed already. I'll get some this weekend if nobody else does.

The 5th gens only need one J-bolt. You replace the front J-bolt and the back J-bolt is the same size. Glad to hear you're all getting your bars.

when you tighten up the bar on the battery there will be enough downward force on the battery it will be ok....

1 of 2 long screws that suppose to go into the end holes of the tie bar doesn't even reach so I can't screw down both sides.

the one that came w/ the car I guess. I bought the car w/ 17k miles on it so should be factory battery. I think it's either the battery is too wide or the bar is too short. One or the other.

Something isn't right then. The bars are the same size for both generation. The only possible thing you would need is a longer J-bolt, which you shouldn't...

I had that exact same battery when i first got my car and I had this bar on it as well. The plastic piece that goes around the battery can come off and that might help...

all you got to do is stack a few washers on top of the ends of the tie down. That creates space so you can screw it down....

The battery should go inside the groove of the bar. Taking the battery cover wont help either. Bar is way too short.
