These covers are OEM spec and are made to install in place of your factory cloth or leather seat covers. Once installed they will look just like the factory leather seat covers. These are 100% compatable with the Side Impact Airbag systems in the Bolsters whether you have the cloth or the leather factory upholstery. The Maxima has a very straight forward installation and the average do-it-yourselfer should have no problems with the task. Our installation kit includes the hog-ring pliers, hog-rings, and the super-adhesive upholstery glue that you will need for the door inserts is discounted from $35.00 to $25.00 for this buy.

That kit is $540 base.

Only thing I would like Eric(Leatherseats.com) to possibly address for us is.
2 embroderies is $30.00 here
and $10.00 there ($5. each)

Even if I subtract the $20.00 difference that's still $575 unless you have a 6th gen(2004) and all we need is 10 people to match that price and more to beat it.

Other then that all I can say is I hear that this is a better quality and fitted kit than the Katzkin kit.

oh i agree with everything you said 100%. except to get the better deal we need 20 people. thats alot of people who are willing to spend $600 dollars once said and done. I would love to this kit.

 

I understand what you are saying. And I know getting people to spend is hard.
All I was pointing out was 10 people is same price as Katzkin and I feel for better quality.. but 20 people we can even beat their deal

it may be possible to get others involved. I am trying to have mine custom made so this will certainly take some time. But the price is considerably less.

 

well if it considerably less and the quality is just a good...you should involve other .org members so we all can get a cheaper price

 

BUMP! I want my seats

 

I am actually having my gf's design company make the seats up for me and after we have it all made up and installed on my car I will post pictures and start a GD for the .org members. The only problem is that they will be custom made to order rather than being mass produced so it may take a couple weeks to receive after an order is placed......I will keep the .org informed though

BTW the price we are shooting for is around $400 (could be +/- a little). This would include 2-tone leather seats, and 4 embroderies.

Guys, I called leatherseats today and wanted to order. He said we can't get the special price unless everyone orders. We need to set a date when everyone will order.

Everyone seems to only want to be on this deal with 20+ people price.
So how can we put order in with 15 people?
Not going to work. As soon as we get 20 I was going to call leatherseats again and tell them the deal is starting.
Please don't jump the gun. That just makes it harder to keep relations with them later.

On post #17 (the one including details and prices on this GD) there was a mention about the leatherseats.com seats being OEM spec... to me that implys that they are leather on seating surfaces and vinyl on the sides and back etc. Is this the case?

Im interested in getting Full leather seats not with the cheap vinyl crap.
If they are full leather i might be able to scrounge up so money for this GD..
we'll see.
