Anyone Still want Technosquare ECU for $380

I just got off the phone with Danny Lee at Technosquare, and he said the last deal ended Nov 1st. Which i was not awhere of. He said If we can get 20 people who want the the ECU upgrade, he will do it again. Anyone interested?

speedymax99 11-18-2003 03:51 PM

for what year can they be use? i have a 99 will it work with at year

96white 11-18-2003 04:04 PM

please research before asking questions.

Asleeper 11-18-2003 09:40 PM

How about ecu upgrade for the 97+, and none of this "I can get a 96 ecu for an additional $150 and have a permanent CEL bs."

GreekMaxima 11-19-2003 01:15 AM

i will buy it in christmas!

BEJAY1 11-19-2003 06:02 AM

I do. Talked with them Monday and was told the same as you.

I'll be sending Danny pics of both the '97 ECU board and '96 ECU board to see if he wants to take a stab at the OBD2 changes. Although there are good gains to be had I'm still disturbed that we lose a bit of HP by using the mis-matched ECU's. Cheston lost a combined 4.1hp/tq and I show a 3.3hp/tq loss to start with.
Stock '96 ECU (Run001) vs '97 ECU (Run002)

If anybody can open their '98 box up and send me good board (and chip) pics I'll forward that over to TS as well.

They don't have cores. You have to mail yours in. Takes about 3 days to get it back. Contact Technosquare to confirm.

Why cant they do a 99.5?? I mean, if all we do is send ours in to them and they reprogram it, why cant it be done??? Its just a program isnt it? If I could get my done for my 99.5 I would do it for sure as a christmas gift, haha.

djfrestyl 11-22-2003 07:53 PM

am i mistaken or do they not have anything for the 2K guys?

95CustomMaxima 11-23-2003 10:29 AM

Does this ECU raise the rev limiter to 7200? If so I might be interested for Christmas Time.

Thanks,
-Nick

AllGo 11-25-2003 03:58 PM

I have a 96 5spd ecu done by Technosquare in the 4th gen and general for sale forum. No wait and no core needed, sorry to whore up this thread but thought I would just make others aware.

Sorry, I'm out of the possible GD. Bought David's (AllGo) ECU instead. Gonna do some Auterra testing between that and JWT programs for now.

slimer 12-01-2003 03:05 PM

i would like to drive your car. pm me (you can drive mine when its up and boosted)

Fezzik 12-01-2003 03:08 PM

Too bad this isnt for the 5th gens... I guess I'm out.

todamax 12-04-2003 10:23 PM

I think it would be a good idea if some posted the applicable years for this poential GD.

I'm back in the GD as David sold his ECU to someone else. I've been told TS is working on removing the rev limiter right now. Oh and this works or 95-96 with no CEL. 97-98 with possible CEL.

You are kidding, right?!? You are trying to start a group deal but you won't answer basic questions? /yourself.

Broaner 12-14-2003 08:46 AM

I would be interested if this was two months from now. So this involves sending them my ECU right. And they are sure or don't know if it trips CEL. What is so bad about CEL being on? Just as long as it gives codes correctly.
