Anyone Still want Technosquare ECU for $380
I just got off the phone with Danny Lee at Technosquare, and he said the last deal ended Nov 1st. Which i was not awhere of. He said If we can get 20 people who want the the ECU upgrade, he will do it again. Anyone interested?
for what year can they be use? i have a 99 will it work with at year
please research before asking questions.
How about ecu upgrade for the 97+, and none of this "I can get a 96 ecu for an additional $150 and have a permanent CEL bs."
i will buy it in christmas!
I do. Talked with them Monday and was told the same as you.
I'll be sending Danny pics of both the '97 ECU board and '96 ECU board to see if he wants to take a stab at the OBD2 changes. Although there are good gains to be had I'm still disturbed that we lose a bit of HP by using the mis-matched ECU's. Cheston lost a combined 4.1hp/tq and I show a 3.3hp/tq loss to start with. Stock '96 ECU (Run001) vs '97 ECU (Run002) If anybody can open their '98 box up and send me good board (and chip) pics I'll forward that over to TS as well. bejay1@prodigy.net |
Let me know what he says about the 97 pix.

Why cant they do a 99.5?? I mean, if all we do is send ours in to them and they reprogram it, why cant it be done??? Its just a program isnt it? If I could get my done for my 99.5 I would do it for sure as a christmas gift, haha.
am i mistaken or do they not have anything for the 2K guys?
Does this ECU raise the rev limiter to 7200? If so I might be interested for Christmas Time.
Thanks, -Nick |
I have a 96 5spd ecu done by Technosquare in the 4th gen and general for sale forum. No wait and no core needed, sorry to whore up this thread but thought I would just make others aware.

I would be interested if this was two months from now. So this involves sending them my ECU right. And they are sure or don't know if it trips CEL. What is so bad about CEL being on? Just as long as it gives codes correctly.
