Budget wont do it, they say their price is already low enough....the Canadian dollar needs to hit some inflation so the price drops back down!!

$180 for a Y pipe from budget. Not that expensive. Well worth the money. I am sure many of you have blown $$$ on mods with less gains (Catbacks are about $400-$500 and have maybe 5hp gains).

I just did a warpspeed y-pipe and high flow cat on my 3rd gen. It's very quiet. Granted this is after living with a noisy *** exhaust leak for some time so it seems REALLY quiet. It seems to have a bit more of a deep rumble than stock, but it's quiet. Actually the slight noise difference is really nice and classy.

go to www.budgetexhaust.com You're not gonna see a way to pay them, so call them through their provided phone number. Thats how you set it up. I need to take a pic of my y-pipe. I think I have a aftermarket y-pipe, but I'm not too sure. There's some exhaust wrap near the end of it, but when it went up for an oil change, I dont remember seeing the cats

Does Buget's get in the way of anti-sway?

Hey,
I've heard some y-pipes get in the way of the anti-sway bar. I'm trying to get both ASAP and just wanted to make sure from someone that has the Budget y-pipe and a sway bar say it all fits together well.
THANKS!

hmm, no way, y pipe is too far up for a rear sway bar to hit it...i just ordered a budget y pipe.. go to their site and call the number. as of today the exchange rate was 190.00 into american from teh 250 (canadian) it advertises on their site..also it is an f pipe on their site...call the toll free number and Jody will get your credit card and it should be quick..i should get mine this saturday. the only pipe i can think of a sway bar may hit is part of an aftermarket catback/b-pipe combo. but even then highly unlikely. for 190 shipped, you cannot beat a budget.

I contacted Brian Catts from Cattman a couple of weeks ago to see if he would be willing to do a GD on the Cattman Y and B pipes together. Unfortunately, he turned the idea down since he basically uses GDs to cut down on overstocked items. Apparently, Cattman isn't overstocked on Y and B pipes.

I still plan on getting the Cattman Y pipel, but I may save a few $$s by getting the Warpspeed B instead of the Cattman B-pipe.

With the stock muffler and resonator your ok, you will ear it at wot, under normal driving you may have a little rumble but that's all, I have a Cattman + Powertech + intake, it is much louder, but still accceptable.

Cheers
