Just a FYI. I talked with a very reputable distributor. They informed me that Auto Specialty rotors are now made of Chinese Iron which is far inferior. TRW, PowerShot, Auto Specialty, whatever brand you want to call it has been sold to a Chinese company and no longer supplies reputable rotors. This has all happened recently. The distributor said that before the sale of the company the rotors were excellent.

Henrik,
what pads do you recommend with these rotors? I'm interested in the straight slotted rotors for my 96 Max. I was thinking about getting Raybestos Quietstop but was wondering if you has any input as to which may perform better with these rotors.

To be honest I am not an experts on brake pads (Any good quality pads will do incl. the 2 you mentioned). My personal all time favorite's (althogh a little more dusty) are AXXISS/PBR "Ultimates" (around $90 F/R set) or less expensive AXXISS Metal Masters (around $70 F/R set).

The 2nd Round Rotor's GB has already started as of today... "No Minimun Orders Required". So, as soon as your car's and Rotor Pattern info is sent via Paypal to: HenrikGal@aol.com you are good to go.
If you dan't have Paypal Account that's O.K. email me please so I sent you my address for cashier's check or Money Order.

*Since these rotors are custome cut to the pattern of your choice, allow about 3-5 working days until they are ready be shipped. Thanks, Henrik

** The color of the rotors are Silverish/Chrom (Not the Godish color you see as a result of bad scan).

*** To speed up your process I would like to stay away from Brake Pads, but if you want me to supply the pads, they will be AXXISS / PBR's ($80/shipped F/R for the "Metal Masters" - $100/shipped F/R for the "Ultimates")

Thanks, Henrik/MaxedUp

Can you alter your straight slot design, instead of the six slots that you show. Could you do 8 like powerslot, or 8-12 slots going around the rotor, not the star style.

Something like the 1N1 straight without the holes/ cross drilling.

I'm in if you can do that.

You can only pick from the patterns available. (Unless you buy 5+ sets so they re-program the system for the custom pattern Design of "your choice").

they couldn't just have the machine not drill the holes. Shouldn't be that hard.

The 2N1 straight is the same style as the straight slot without the holes, and the Unload crossdrilled is the same style as the single crossdrilled without a section of holes.

Instead of changing any pattern, see if you can do the 1N1 straight without the holes.

O.K....1N1 Straight without the holes are possible.

Here are some pictures of the autospecialty rotors for a 2002 Maxima. They are waiting on stainless steel lines to be installed. I will be running EBC greenstuff pads on fron and Raybestos PG pads on rear. If the rears suck, I might go back to OEM. Here are some pics.

89-2001: Brembos, 2K2/2K3" Auto specialty or Cedric. Yes, the deal is still going but I may take a break soon before the end of the month.

Here are some new and bigger pictures of the Patterns still available:
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/342829/2

Also if you order 2sets plus (one for yourself - one for a friend... etc.) the Zinc Platting is on me. "No Extra Charge on both sets).

Either one is good and recommended. I personally like the Zinc Plating better because they give the rotors that bright silverish/Chrome look.
