I am sure we all will be receiving these soon... now moving on to the next step. Insallation.

Are you guys going to do it yourself? I've never done this kind of installation before so I am think I should go to a performance shop to get this installed. What do you guys think? How much would it cost roughly?

This is a very easy install. View the write up in the how too section. The only thing is to remember to use ramps. Do NOT jack the car up to install them. Everything is bolt on. No cutting welding etc. Very simple.

I heard if you thin enough you dont even need to jack up the car, you just have to go down under and install it. I also heard, you can jack up the car, and I also heard you can put them on ramps too. To be on the safe side, Ill either put them on ramps or go down under. I heard the install is a snap. A few of my friends did it with no problems.

YOu have to remove wheels though. Its much easier. as D_warner said, there is a HOw-To on the .org.

Well. I'm 6'3" 200lbs. Don't think I'll be trying to crawl under my dropped Max. I might be able to get under there, but I sure as heck couldn't get anything done once I got down there. I envy you guys who can. ha ha

Could someone (preferably Cattman) confirm that only ramps should be used for the install. The how-to: https://maxima.org/shoptalk/sub_modi...sb/index.shtml claims that you can use jack stands. Could someone please clerify this point? Thanks.

well ramps are safer if you think about it. If the jack stand fails, and the car comes falling on you...... its over man... Floor jacks, and Ramps functions the same way, just the ramps are more stable. After you install it and drive it around, just remember to check the RSB again to retighten the screws, because for some reason the screws loosen up on the first drive just to adjust to the car.

The ramps will preload the Rear Sway bar to the cars position. If you "Load" the sway bar with the suspension hanging you will probably need to re adjust it once on the ground. Might even cause accelerated bushing wear.

Just installed a cheap EBay Front Strut Bar 2 days ago which works great. I highly suggest spending the 30 bucks shipped to get one (mine was from sspeed). I'm looking forward installing the RSB and getting the additional improved handling.

I don't know if we'll be getting tracking numbers. Remember, Brian would have to sort through 20 individual numbers. As long as it gets here.

dude, he said $85 plus shipping because if you look at the shipping costs they paid, on average it was $20. So, you actually paid $85 for the bar!! That's just an awesome price.

About tracking, Find your name, look at the corresponding tracking number (17 digit), go to UPS.com and track it.

Waveridr85, thx for all the hard work bro! An awesome deal. Just can't wait to actually receive it!

If you were one of the four people, your tracking number was not recorded or was misplaced. Your package was shipped out though.
