G/B Volk LE-37t's

Hello I recently purchase a full set, thats right 4 volk LE-37t wheels, from a dealer and he offered me 18x8.5 Volk racing LE-37t (the same style as the TE but in gunmetal with a polish lip) for a deal $2300 shipped for them. He asked if I knew anybody that are interested in purchasing some volks he can offer them for $2100 shipped if he gets at least 5 people interested in them.

Here is the info on the group buy. He would need 5 people. Payment can be paid in full but he is asking $500 deposit for them so that you don't back out on him and that it gaurantee you the wheels. He does accept paypal.

Sorry, your server did not work. But I may be interested in standard maxima size 17's if the price were a little better. The volks are beautiful but there is a limit to how much a wheel can do for a car. Better do a lot better than $525 per wheel if we are to be able to put these on a daily driver.

Anyhow, GJ on the GD, just make sure the dude that is selling it to you are legit. I've heard horrible stories.... payce

I had a set of 18" LE-37T's on my Prelude about a year and half ago. Probably some of the best wheels you can buy. I bought them new from www.RandDMotorsports.com for $1,800 shipped. That doesn't include tires of course and they were 8" wide not 8.5.

As long as you get them from authorized dealer, you should be fine. Check Mackin's website for authorized dealers. As for the price, it's okay if you don't know anyone. This sounds legit since it's not below cost type of deal. Anyway..I would get a person's verified home phone number/address before forking over any money. Never pay via paypal with your checking account. Paypal will not help you recover any money. Use a CC with paypal, you have so much more protection through CC companies. Never wire any type of money through western union.

Where's the phone number and address to your guy? Do you think people here is going to give you guys money and you're not even posting all the correct info to make the sale?

a gentleman by the name of Mike B. helped me, and had a price of $440/ wheel for 18x8" +38mm GT-7's in gunmetal. Not too bad a price...

I copied that EXACT same picture from a CarDomain site almost six months ago-wish I could find where originally from now. So that is not the wheels for sale. I especially want to see pictures of the stickers.

If infact the picture is copied from some site, Yakuza needs to be banned. Trying to rip people off, not hundreds but thousands of dollars, is definitely not cool.

I won't be surprised if he is doing the same in other automobile forums.

Quick does have a good price there.
I almost went mail order, then called Mackin Industries for my closest dealer.
It was Big Bear in Oconomawoc WI. He went 15-20% (cant remember which) off no prob and made sure the fit was perfect. These were TE 37s.
So my advice is to call Mackin, get some local Volk dealers and try there first.

Check out the pictures on this EBay auction. The same ones he's showing on this thread-and in the wheels/tires for sale forum. Is this Ebay seller the same person as here? Oh, the picture in the middle of the single wheel and tire is from when Jane (Y2KevSE's wife) got her Volks.

w/ that offset, they are not going to work w/ our Maxima is it?

He wants $2300 OBO but then he didn't put a reserve. What if they were sold at $1000? Take the money and run or re list the item?

A seasonal part time job would do the trick...if you're not already working your a$$ off like I suspect (or going to school).
