I saw the post in the fourth gen (or general, I forget) forum. You said the price is $150 if you upgrade from a first gen vb. If that price is still cool for the gd, put me down for a stage II.. if not, i'll be calling you soon anyway. Thanks

How you doin' maximus, Do you have a store that sells aftermarket car parts or are you just a shop? I live about 20 to 30 mins from glen cove (I think) and if you have a store I'd love to come down there and check it out. Plus I'm lookin' into a VB for my 4th Gen. this GD is only for the people that already have VB's, correct? How much for a stage 1 VB on a 4th gen?

Interested and I can pay next week but wont need it for a few weeks b.c my car will be in the body shop, and nissan shop for warranty work. I'll be giving you a call later on this week. I'll need an 02 core if possible.
i have the VB v.2 installed since november. i didnt have the v.1, but when after install Jeff took my car for a spin, he said the 2-3 shift was much improved over v.1. Jeff did the install, along with new solenoids, took about an hour, and it works like a charm
when i'm tooling around BK in traffic, if the gas pedal is pressed lightly, the tranny behaves pretty much "stock", but when i step on it, it kicks
at first it was kicking a bit too hard to my liking, due to new solenoids, but after a week or two, it became "normal".

i disagree, i have heard that many are seeing droped times, and it will make your tranny stronger, the v2 will make the 2-3 hift much firmer than the v1, you should do a tranny cooler while your at this, it only costs like 60 buxs, maximumtunng isnt a store, just a repair/install/performance shop

well I was talking about the OG's of this website. I'm sure there are a lot of new guys that just jump on the bandwagon and say they dropped times but never have been to the track. If you are making tons of power then I can see the times dropping because of the strain on the stock tranny to shift. I know this first hand thats why Im getting the VB, but for all motor there is no way in hell you will drop .4 from just a VB mod. I'd say maybe a tenth at most and it could be atributed from the weather conditions.

Definitely not....my best run at the track was 15.7 when I was auto w/ Stage 2 VB mod, CAI, y-pipe, catback and pulley....
The VB makes the car much more enjoyable to drive and the shifts are lightning quick... unfortunately the car is not any faster....you'll need a 5-speed for that....
