Guaging intrest in 95/96 Red Clears (READ THIS)

I am currently speaking with a company who already has a mold of a 1995/1996 Maxima Rear Taillight Assembly. Before ordering any quantity of these I am trying to see how many people are interested. This is a very serious endeavor, I will get these made and they will fit like OEM and match perfectly - I just need the number of people interested.
Just post your email address and a number. (First Person to post is #1, Second is #2 etc. just to make totaling easier.) Estimated sale price is about $200 and quality will be top notch.

Lets Make this Happen,

Chris

$200 is way too much for tail lights but if they come through they will make crazy money.

Yeah, the price is a little steep concidering there will be ALOTA peepz interested in this if it pulls through...

If alot of people get in on this...GD? lower the price?

If the price drops to around 180 or less then i am DEFANANTLY gona get em...for 200 i will REALLY think about it but its kinda pricy....then again if they really are as B E A utifull as yu say there gona be i might have to settle for 200 u know?

other than that count me in for now... but not for sure untill i c pics... No one is gona tell you for sure whether or not they want em if they dont have pics...

custommaxima had the red/clears for the 97-99's and started at 200. Now you can get them for like 90 bucks. Its business baby

ok guys...

Still working on this deal, I think the price of 200 will come down depending on the number of people interested. $200 is just a guesstimate but they will fit like OEM and they will look beautiful. I'll keep you all posted...

I'm more then down if the quality is up to par (so much for the numbering system, #4 I guess?).

I wouldn't even bother with getting a GD going. You WILL have tons and tons of orders. Just print out some posts of people bidding $350+ for a set of of used red clears in good condition and it should have that company salivating...

That is a good price. I never seen so many frugale people in my life. You will sell many many sets, get them produced people will buy them you watch.

its the demand really. Look for used sets of 95-96 red/clears, they are similarly priced or more, sometimes much more. If you could get a nice brand new set for that price, they WOULD sell.

OK guys...yes $200 is a lot of money, but think of how nice they would look. Eventually the price would drop, but the only way they'll ever get made is if a few adventurers dish out the big bill to get he 1st ones made. If you can afford it, do it. The ones that NEED a lower price will just have to wait. I bought my aftermarker red/clears for my 98 as soon as they came out. I paid $169, but it was well worth it. I don't even care that they are only $99 now. You have to get the ball rolling first.

exactly. if no one ever bought it, it couldnt become popular, and therefore cheap. if you hadnt started that ball way back, i couldnt have gotten my set for cheap

if i get a 96/95 i would definitely be interested. The price is high, but think about how rare they are. No company produces them and you can't make it yourself. 97-99's can just put them in the oven and make it themselves.

the looks part isnt hard to imagine. If its mass produced, it would have to blend well or else...they would get no sales (especially at 200 bucks) and similarly, no fitment issues for that kind of price. or else...they wont stay in buisness

Hey used 95/96 red clears go for like $300-350 just because they are so rare. So $200 is a high price but almost no one has them so it's reasonable. But ofcourse I didn't even get my y-pipe yet so I'm little too broke for red clears

I just bid 301 for stealth max's brand new red/clears. If I don't win then I am DEFINITELY IN for yours Christhenite. 200 is obviously what I'd rather spend!

thanks.

Count me in, in the future, if the price is moreso at $185. I understand the rarity of such an item, but I can only pay so much to replace lights, of all things (even if it is to replace some wretched ambers)

haha...funny that some of you bid on used ones and get up to $250-$350 range but you're saying that $200 is too much for a brand new set....

but to get back on topic: if they get produced, people will jump on them....

yea are these gonna be all four lights? 200 would sound reasonable for that, but if its just the outer ones consider a price drop for them. i know they are rare, but if you are mass producing them there shouldnt be a problem getting $ on these if you drop the price a bit, the lower the price the more will bite, keep in mind the competition of the altezza's, they go for 90 bux on ebay for all four

250-350 is being spent because they are rare and match perfectly if they're a mass production. A lowest enough price will still get the distributor hella cash
