twotone evrything is running fine man. I just got bigger injectors check my thread in the 5th Gen forum.
Very cool to hear.
I guess the 350Z injectors worked
I'll check out your other thread.

Can I ask what your opinion is S/C vs. Turbo (since you have had both in the same car). What pulley size did you get down to with the S/C anyway?
SCer was how much peak boost? Turbo is how much peak boost?

Thanks Deac

I'm in, but I need to change a few things. I've been researching since PFI released their first kit and I know exactly what I want.

Subtractions:
Spearco Intercooler - already have one... and it's mounted
Battery Relocation Kit - done a LONG time ago

Additions:
GT3040 full BB turbo and appropriate flanges
HKS SSQV flange (already have the BOV)
3" Complete exhaust

Does this disqualify me for the group deal? If so, can you PM or email me how much it would be? I appreciate you offering a stripped down kit like this for people with gauges, fuel pump, AFC etc...

Is that a hybrid of the GT30R and GT40R?

What whp goal are you shooting for?

Yes.

I'm shjooting for 500 tuned track HP at the wheels. I will lower boost and retune for street use (~425 HP).

I have every supporting mod I need... and the best I can get of them... I just need the kit now.

Curious...the GT30R won't flow enough on the turbine side at those power levels and cause too much backpressure IMO. I was figuring a GT30R(comp)/GT35R(turbine) for up to 400whp, but don't know if GT-hybrids are possible.

Do you have a link/shop that does GT hybrids?

Nope, the GT30R is underpowered for me, though a beautiful turbo. My baby snail is the GT 3040 600HP Ball Bearing Turbo (.82 exh and .70 comp)

Here is one of many sites that has them:
http://www.uniqueautosports.com/pric...ist_turbos.htm

We have bought 2 turbos from them for our VH45DETT S13.5 project.

Hmmnnn...I only see a GT35/40R here: http://www.atpturbo.com/root/turboin...p/gtlineup.htm

You sure that's not what you meant? Or is this list out-of-date?

[edit]
OK...looks like you're referring to a HKS3040?

The GT 35/40R could be a variation on the turbo I am looking for. This is our first jump into the ball bearing turbo realm... out of 6 turbo cars, you'd think we'd already have one.

Yes, a HKS 3040 (it has the GT cartridge) or equivalent. I don't care much who the manufacturer is, as long as the parts are comparable. HKS vs Garrett is splitting hairs to me

Any ideas how much lag would increase from the GT35/40R and the GT40R? That's tempting as well... though perhaps a bit of overkill.

But does overkill really exist as long as your motor and drivetrain survive?
