Rear shock mount GD, $120 shipped!!

Rear B-14 Shock Mounts:

10: $125 shipped
15+: $120 shipped

Normal price is $137 with shipping. These mounts fit 94-99 Maxima, 95-99 200sx/ Sentra and 99-00 G-20 (B-14 are 95-99 Sentra/200sx/94-99 Maxima and B-15 is 00-04 Sentra). These are for lowered cars only. They give you back the lost travel from lowering it. You don't have to have it realigned because there is noting to align on the rear suspension.

These should go really well with all the lowered (or lowered-to-be) Maximas around here. If you're ever planning to lower your Max, jump on this because there's just not much competition for these parts. Here's what the website says:

Get over an INCH more of rear suspension travel!!! Every '95-'99 200SX/Sentra that's lowered will greatly benefit with these new rear upper mounts! Also fits '99-'00 G-20 and '95-'99 Maxima! New B-15 Standard spring type mounts for use with standard type lowering springs or TEIN coilovers! B-14 standard type mounts will work with TEIN coilovers also.

In case you're wondering, this is what they do:
Increasing suspension travel is a much needed item on a lowered Maxima. After lowering on Eibachs (one of the taller lowering springs) the car will only have about an inch of suspension travel in the front and rear. Increasing the suspension travel reduces the chances that your suspension will bounce off the bumpstops causing a hard bounce at the end of the suspension travel. Abrubt bumpstop hitting can cause loss of control in bumpy corners due to the changing suspension stiffness

That's from http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaShockMounts

If you're in, pm me with your full name and payment method (Paypal, Visa, MC, Money Order).

It closes on 3/12, AFTER which you will contact Motivational with your info (They don't want any payment info until after the deal's finished).

If you have any questions, let me know.

Matt

Hey Matt,
You must be a mind reader because I was just thinking about gettings some of these mounts. Their website is a little vague so do you know what the difference between their B-14 and B-15 rear mounts are? I have H-Tech springs and figure B-14s are what I want. Thanks for the assist.

I edited the post. I think it answers your questions now. Sounds like anyone with lowered Maximas should get these...I probably will.

The front mounts do not have the design weakness the rears do, where there is an inch of suspension travel to be gained with the aftermarket rear Motivational mount.

hmmm. That'd be a good question to ask on the 4th gen forum. See if people who are lowered but don't have these have troubles, or if everyone ends up getting them.

Yes, and it was worth it for $137. It’s hard to put a price on an inch of rear suspension travel.

With everyone getting lowered suspensions, I'm surprised there's not more interest in these. Are most people just not getting them?

I think we can extend this, if people are still contemplating it.

From what I've read, they are very helpful for ANY lowered 94-99.
