I'm still working on a better price, but it won't be any higher than this. We NEED 20 sets purchased.

89-94 GR-2: $174 plus actual shipping
95-99 GR-2: $210 plus actual shipping
95-99 AGX: $350 plus actual shipping
00-01 GR-2: $270 plus actual shipping (I'm checking to see if 02,03 are available, he said no at first)

Tokicos might also be available from this guy, and I'm still working with a couple other distributers, so if I get a better then that'll just be a bonus.

Shipping is between $10 and $25 per set. PM me if you're definitely in, with your zip, and I'll get you the shipping price. Here's who I have interested so far, but no one is in for sure until I get the PM. Once we have 20, I'll give you the address to send the money order (although paypal/credit cards MIGHT be available).

Since I haven't committed to the one distributor so I can still bargain for price, I can't give ALL the details now. But I know you guys need to move on this so I'm trying to get a list of who's definitely in.

These are the people that are interested. No one is definitely in until you PM me, again, and I say that you're in. If I had down that you're an 02 or greater I didn't put you on the list because I'm not SURE that it's available, but I will definitely get back to you.

2002/03 use the SAME struts as 2000/2001, therefore you can use them for all 5th Gens (including 2002/2003).

Since I haven't finalized with any company, I'll make sure it goes at least until we get our 20, hopefully longer if people are still joining.

As of now, I just found out that I am broke. I have to stop browsing the classifieds and gd forums.

I am out for now. I hate it because it is a good deal, but I don't have the money. I guess I will have to wait until another one comes along. I might be able to still do it if we could paypay, because I could delay my payment with the credit card.

Yes, paypal and credit are accepted. There might be a fee for them, because paypal charges him 3% and credit cards 4%. I'll let you know, but if we go with this guy he'll definitely accept them.

Shipping to BC Canada is $55.00 flat fee but they can send it as a gift and a low value so you do not pay too much for duty taxes.

Also, single struts or pairs are available through this...the price will be a little higher, but should still be a good deal. I'll get those quotes, as well as the rest of the shipping quotes, soon hopefully.

Does anyone know if you can pair up the gr2 with some eibachs. Does anyone have this setup? How long do you think the gr2s would last being paired up with eibachs?

I just read that in another forum, the AGX's last longer than the GR-2s, and that over time the AGX's get a little softer but, being an adjustable strut, can be adjusted stiffer . Is there any truth to this?

How would both struts perform with H&R springs? Handling, Comfort, Noise?

it all really depends what kinda springs you pair it up with. also the quality of the dustboots, strut mount, and possibly camber kit are account into the life of agx.

ie. agx with stock springs = most likely agx will last very long
ie. agx with coilovers, bad dustboots and strut mount, poor quality cambert kit = agx gonna blow soon

true that...what is the max drop? i have talked to a few people on here with AGX and sprint set up....Is that spring a little too low...as far as camber kit...it doesnt need one...all it needs is Eibach Camber bolts...from what i have heard...i dont know the difference but i know it "perfects" the camber...

What do you think the life expectancy would be with AGX and sprints? long? kinda long?

Concidering i WILL get the best dustboots and mounts available...according to budget too

But i want these things to basically ride till the car breaks...or as long as possible

anything that goes lower than 1.5" drop are recommened for camber kit and motivational strut mounts.

kyb agx is like the cheaper version of tokico illuminas.

kyb gr-2 is like 2/4 (2 for front, 4 for back) setting on kyb agx. 15% stiffer over OEM stock SE shocks (aka tokico blue). IMO this is why GR2s are slightly better than tokico blue. it's also cheaper as well.

IMO KYB dustboots are not needed if you aren't going for serious suspension upgrade. if your stock dustboots are in good condition just use that. if it's torn then get KYB dustboots for replacement.

since my car is setup for street style, basic maxspeed and gr2 will do a good job eliminating the body roll, and close the wheel gap. i doubt i will ever use this suspension setup for track.

the ultimate A++ setup for track would be eibach on koni yellows (like drewm's setup).

Quote: But i want these things to basically ride till the car breaks...or as long as possible
you pay what you get. if you pay for GR2 then you get GR2 quality, if you pay tokico illuminas/koni yellow then you get that quality....

lastly...drew just wrote a new article in maxima mod, read it cuz it's cool and good for you >> http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?SuspensionSelection
