I have the normal skinny tie down. Ok if this thing goes over those removable cap things on the battery?

Got mine recently. Looks way cool Anyone know if it's a bad idea to cover up those two caps on top of the battery? I currently have the skinny tie down that runs inbetween the two.

I just got mine today, looks good. Only one problem. No new J-bolts. Plus the box that it came in was huge.

*EDIT*
On a sidenote, Customer Service is awesome. New J-Bolts on the way.

Sorry for taking so long to send payment.. I've been out of town for the last week being the family mechanic..

1 timing belt
2 water pumps
2 valve cover gaskets (which include intake manifold removal and cleaning)
3 sets of spark plugs
1 carbouretor overhaul on dad's old Ford
3 brake jobs
1 complete CV boot job

Umm, there's more but I forget.
then I drove at MSR yesterday and trashed my new tires.

anyway, payment is goign in about 5 minutes to your Paypal account. Again, sorry for taking so long!

I'm retarded. I can't seem to fit the battery tie down onto the two screws that the tie down is supposed to fit on.

When I tried to place the new tie down over the two screws only one side fits...the other side can't reach. Seems as if the tie down is coming up short?

I probably need to fiddle with it some more, or could it be that i got the wrong tie down?

any help would be much appreciated.

Ummmm....let me guess, you didn't get new (taller) tie down J-bolts?

Apparently, someone (JULLLLLLLLIAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!-our shipping manager) can't read properly Let me know if you guys don't get your J-bolts.
