GD on M-Bumper

Id like to get a group deal going on a Redlinemax.com M-Bumper These are probably the only replacement bumper in the aftermarket that im feeling right now and maybe there are others that like it too.

heres a pic of the bumper incase you dont know what im talking about:

http://www.redlinemax.com/2/g/imgs/d...er_Side1_A.jpg

Someone please hook up a price at around, id say $375 shipped or better. Listed price on the site is $375 plus shipping (which may be like $100-$150)

Also, can we get these bad boys in polyurethane? carbon fiber?

Holla back

I have always liked that bumper but with all the fitment issues ive heard about I dont know. Isn't there supposed to be a new version of it comming out soon? I would be in if it was made in polyurethane.

Too bad it's not in production right now. If you wait a little while Ange might hook it up. But until then it can't happen

this bumper in CF would be badas$ since my max is super black. the bumper would be light as hell and would flow nicely with a CF hood and trunk.

Im not really wanting a fiberglass version cause i drive rather recklessly and i although ive pretty much memorized where all the dips are around my house, i havent yet mastered the dips near my girls house. Worst thing ever would be hearing a giant cracking noise after shelling out hundreds of dollars to get the bumper purchased, painted and put on.

At least a urethane would stand up a whole lot better, but CF, damn that would be the cats as$.

Last time i talked with Ange from redlinemax.com, she told us it'l be in production this mid-april. so save up those bucks. although im not sure if it'll be in poly, but fiberglass for sure. and from what i know, ange is the only person who offers this style bumper. i think custommaxima is also robbing the design.

but CF?? that would cost you around 500, maybe more cause of the curves and what not.but we can all dream..lol now door sheelsoutta CF, that would be some weight reduction

A good Carbon-fibre bumper would run $1000+ on it's own. The ones they use for Prodrive (rally racing) run $5000. In addition it's difficult to paint match and would require extra prep work. Finally, Carbon-fibre is only marginally less weight than eurethane, people normally only use it to replace steel. The chance that a CF bumper would ever be made for any Maxima are very slim and they would probably be a one-off.

As for the M-Bumper, I would go for a urethane version. I'm sure Ange has been working on it since there has always been a lot of demand.

nope guys. there wont be a poly version because i called her like 2+ weeks ago. there wont be a urethane one because she doesnt want other places copying its design [direct quote so dont kill me]. it is also available at another place but its like double anges price and it's still in fiberglass.

You're right.. I have been approached by CA factory known for making the Skyline urethane kit but I don't plan on working with urethane factory unless I get exclusive rights to the mold, which I have now with the fiberglass version. This bumper will only be sold directly to customers (with Maxima).

Production is underway for the m-front bumper along with something else Delays have pushed the delivery schedule into early May.

Man, i wish that same design could be made just compacted in so that it wouldn't obliterate ground clearance for people with dropped cars. It's not really Canada friendly seeing as how it's made in fiberglass and really kills the ground clearance. Heck, nothing's really Canada friendly, without a kit i almost rub as it is in the winter.

Ange, is there anyway you guys can incorporate a grill into the design of the m-bumper? i dont really like the stock grill and want something a little more race-inspired and that would match the bumper better. have you ever thought about a wide-body kit or m-side skirts and m-rear bumpers?

Holla back.
