Helio's H.I.D. GD ALL K's

Someone mentioned something about a group deal on good H.I.D.'s. I didnt even think about it, so i talked to the guy at www.autoaccessorystore.com, and he gave me the thumbs up for this group deal. I need 10 people for these prices. All products will come with a 1 year warranty through autoaccessorystore, and are back by the Helios name.

Prices are as follows with shipping.

5000k - Crystal White -matches stock HID's almost perfect - 350.00
6000k - Ultraviolet Purple - has more puplish to it - 350.00
7000k - Iceburg Blue - has a bluish tint - 350.00
12000k - Extreme Ultraviolet - very bright blue 370.00

Shipping to the is to the lower 48 states.
If you have any questions feel free to ask me or email autoaccessorystore. HE will not be giving you this price, you can only get this through the group deal.
I will be going on vacation next sunday, the 4th, but i wanted to get this out to you guys before i leave.

This is a great deal.

Questions

Damon you didnt have a groud deal on Helios, you had Mcculloch, which is known for problems.
Helios is only distributed by www.autoaccessorystore.com, and it is German made. I can't do anything with the price, but if you look on www.autoaccessorystore.com, you will clearly see that he is giving you a huge discount. There are pictures on his website of how each looks. If you do some research you'll see that Helios is one of the top brands, not to mention the warranty on all parts.

I have a picture of my old 7k bulbs if you want to look at them on my cardomain page also. And no you wont get pulled over for them. Thanks alot guys
If you guys have any questions send me an email.

About how long will these prices be good for? Has anyone confirmed yet? Is local pickup an option and if so is there a discount?

It became illegal to sell hid kits on August 15th 2003 so yes its illegal to sell hid kits in the United States. Overall i dont know if 350 is a fair price of 10 orders of hid kits, i think if he really wanted to gain customers he would have to lower his profit margin. Good Job trying to start a Gd on this though hope things work out for you.

Honestly, I don't see how any of you guys are complaining that this guy is slashing $100 of his prices. Although the guys at hidforums don't recommend Helios

Helios is not a well known brand name and if you do some research not many people have them or want them. Since i dont know much about the kit i will not bash it myself but the price on his site is extremely high and to sell over 10kits for 350 is just not worth it in my eyes.

Yes all kits are plug and play, Helios is a German made Conversion kit. You can get replacements if something blows, you have a 1 year on all parts.

... Grandma as far as bashing in this thread, i appreciate it, Considering your 24 posts and all the research you did. Helios is made in Germany, Philips Uniton is made in China.
I cant change the price. I got the price through him because of im a dealer for him. If you honestly think you can buy a quality HID conversion kit for 300 then go ahead and buy an ebay kit. Im sorry you dont agree with the prices or the brand.

maxima-se, i dont have d2r bulbs yet, give me about a month and Helios will have the bulbs.

If i missed anybody send me a pm and ill get directly back to you

I honestly think the Helios are a great option. The guys at hidforums response was simply "I wouldnt buy from a company that makes over 6000k kits" but that really doesn't comment on their quality. I wish some one had experience with these.

Brandon when researching the forums you will see that there is a high demand for hid kits but the price that people are willing to pay is around 300. i was able to contact someone who sells hid kits with hella ballasts and also comes with a 1 year warranty but i am not a salesman nor would i want to be the middle man so i didnt get involved. I praise you on trying to start something great for the org just stating facts.

Im happy that you contacted someone that was able to provide you with hella balasts, once again its not Helios, i wouldnt go into a BMW dealership and compare buying a Benz with the saleperson. Although both are high quality products they are different.

Formz - um, i just sold 2 kits to someone from the org about 2 weeks ago, i dont know his name on the org, but im sure he will be able to tell you how they look. Once again, nothing to worry about, if the bulb balast or ignitor goes you simply send it to autoaccessorystore and they send you a new one.

The only reason i did this was because someone mentioned that i should in the other forum. Any other questions let me know.

Alright, i spoke with the person at www.SUVLIGHTS.com, and he gave me this price for 6000K Philips Uniton bulbs.... $265/pair shipped.

But this is what he said though
"only on the D2S size $265 shipped, you can fit it into the D2R housings
" IF someone can confirm that we can fit D2S into our D2R ballasts... then this is cheap... i thought 2k2+2k3 Maximas used D2Rs only..... hmmm... anyone?

How they look is second in importance to me. Just because something comes with a warrenty doesn't mean I don't care if it breaks. A year warranty is not a long time for something non-OEM. And even if it DID break within that warranty period, I still have to pull the things out, send them back to autoaccessorystore and wait for a new part.

What I mean is I wish these were a product that people have had for YEARS so we can tell the quality of the parts. I'm sure they LOOK fine, but only time will tell on the quality.

I'm not bashing the product in any way shape or form, I just with more people could sell brand name products that more people knew about. These could be GREAT HIDs, but no one knows.

It comes with one year warranty for a reason, if it would get defective they would not be offering the warranty, because of all the call backs they would have. My friend had these installed in his headlights for 7 months now and they look mint.

The difference between this kit and any other kit is 2 things,

1) How long they will last, its advertised as lasting 3000 hours, and it's not just anyone advertising this, it is a legitate store whose been in business for over 4 years and they will back the product up if anything happens, they are not just a one man show importing some cheap lights and selling them for whatever with whatever warranty and after the call backs started coming in they will close down. Thats what you can expect from someone unknown website.

2) The LM of the bulb and the clarity of the intensity of the light. This are super bright and light up the whole road, and the clarity on them is so crisp clear you can stare at them and they will look like a thousand bucks.

I wanna get a set of these but I dont want to pay $579.00

I can tell you right now that THEY are not advertising the "3000 hours" and the lumens of the kits. Those "specs" are GENERAL HID specs applied to every single HID kit on the market. What specs CAN'T tell you is the failure rate on ballasts, or the problems with wiring that the McCollachs have.

There's no need to get snippy about this. I'm just expressing the trepedation that a LOT of members on this site have about purchasing HID kits.

That is a total misconseption. a 12000k kit will actually produce LESS usable light than a 5000k kit. I think it's something in the neighborhood of 30% less light. The higher the number does NOT mean the brighter. That number pertains to COLOR TEMPERATURE meaning 12000k is a different COLOR than the 5000k or 6000k etc... it also is the LEAST bright of the bunch.

And you will NEVER see these kits under $300, ever. I don't understand why people are complaining about this guy slashing $130 off his price for the 5000k, and $200 off the 12000ks.. I mean come on don't be greedy he has stuff to pay for like the rest of us, it's a business.
