Cone filters? If so, I'd be interested in one that would fit a 3" intake.

No need for a GD on K&N cone filters. I sell them everyday to .org members for $32 shipped. They will fit all of the intakes out there, Injen, Place Racing, Frankencar. They are 3" flange filters, the same ones that the Place Racing kits come with. I always keep at least a dozen in stock so they ship the next day.

Regards,
Bryan

For the K&N pannel filters I would have to order them in advance. About 2 weeks delivery time.

FOR THE PANNEL FILTER:
Pricing will be $35.95 + $6.75 shipping. If you want to add a K&N recharger kit just add $10. I would need to have them all prepaid before I place the order for them. I will start accepting payments on them now and will close the deal on May 1st.

The part number is 33-2031-2 and it filts 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th gen Maximas.

FOR THE CONE FILTER:
K&N PN - RU-2820. $32.95 shipped. Order these anytime.

Regards,
Bryan

It should, if the diameter of the piping is 3". The filter's length is 6.5" long, plus the flange the total length is about.

Sorry about the confusion. $32.95 for the CONE filter with 3" flange. $35.95 for the PANNEL filter.

That is correct. You don't have to wait on those, they are in stock all the time. Just go ahead and send the payment over.

it is a round straight filter (ie cylinder). If you want a cone filter, go with an S&B powerstack filter which I have as well for $36 shipped.

S&B is of similar quality. Made in the USA just like K&N. You really have to watch out for the Taiwan filters. They LOOK like K&N filters, shops will SAY that they are K&N filters, but are just crap. I've seen them break apart on turbo charged cars and ruin compressor wheels.

The outer diameter of my intake filter adapter is 3.75". Will a 3" flange cone fit? or do I need a different size.

Definately not. You would have to buy a filter with a 3.75" flange. It might be easier for you just to buy it at another online retailer that stocks them. You'll pay more for it but you would have to wait at least a week to get one from me.

Bryan

Not any time soon. I am just sold out at the moment but I have more on order. I do have S&B filters in stock as a substitute at the moment. They are the Powerstack filters with black tops. Go to www.sbfilters.com for more info.

Will have some pics of the S&B compared to the K&N.

Maxspeed - do you want a pannel filter (OEM replacement) for the Acura or an actual intake?
