It's the middle section of the door panel that usually is covered by cloth/Fabric from Factory... These goes on top the OEM inserts without having to remove anything (except door handle frames on 5th gens.)

Carbon Fiber look are made from vynals also, "Not Printed" and have some kind of small 3D texture to it. These go with just about any color combo. Pre-Cut, Ready to Install. Also comes with mini installation guide. Henrik

so what's the difference between vinyl and "Vynal" ?

I'm contacting corbeau now to see if they'll sell their cloth by the yard so I can make some of this stuff. My back seat and armrest need reupholstered as well, so I'm going to see what they'll do.

For 35$, this seems like a nice deal, I'm sending payment for the CF inserts in a couple minutes via paypal...

I'm assuming I need to remove the www. from your paypal address linked in your first post, right? As they are usually just an email address..

These should be different from my own experience (Personally installed at least 10 Altimas with little or no problem so far). Henrik

my question is, is it just a piece of fabric? how is it installed? i dont want to buy the same thing i already have. the problem is that the peice where the leather is going to be installed is not removable, so you have to glue and try to push the edges in with a screw driver and it is impossible to make it look perfect.

They are pre-cut to shape for each Maxima model (from 89-2K3), and comes with a mini installation guide. The good thing is you don't have to remove the existing door panel or even the factory inserts (except the door handle frame on 5th gens.) To make the installation easy it's recomended that you spray a thin layer of general use 3M adhesive (Not that strong). Hope I could help. Henrik

Henrik do you have dark grey vinyl to make the inserts out of? Something dark enough to match the carpet of a black interior Maxima? If not I'll just take the black ones from you, but I'm trying to get a black/dark grey theme going in my interior. Let me know ASAP so I know what to put in my Paypal payment.
Thanks,
-Cyrus

on my 4th gen, the area where the insert would go isn't smooth...and it's in leather...kinda has "ruffles".

would this product stick appropriately to this?

anyone who bought this have pics???
(i've seen the pics on the website)

Thanks!

I would recommend getting these inserts only if you have a GXE or a model that has a factory cloth inserts with a small gap around it. If you have a Maxima with factory leather inserts already these will not work and has to be handled by a professional installer/Uphosterer.
