Ange, do you know if TEIN has any plans for this same setup for the 5th Gen Maxima?

Mike- TEIN has the SuperStreet coilover system available for 2K + Maximas. That is the fully adjustible (height/dampening) coilover system with EDFC compatibility. MSRP is $1250+ S&H. We can do the SuperStreet for $1125.00 shipped to your door. Add EDFC for another $325.00 if purchased with the coilover.

Ange, could you ask about upcoming support for the SS or Flex products on the A32. When we talked with Tein last winter they said only the front lower mount was questionable. Now with the Basic being offered is that solved?

Thanks

TEIN do not have any plans to putting out SS or Flex for a32 at this time. As much as I wish they would put out SS or Flex, it's highly unlikely. If they ever decide to put 'T.B.A' on their website, it would still be months away from production.

Ange, thanks for the info. Question-I want the adjustments capability, but the springs on these are too stiff for my taste. The wife, kids, and I travel in the car frequently, so the ride cannot be harsh or too stiff. Can TEIN substitute softer springs instead of what normally come in this setup. The ones from the S Tech or H Tech line are about what I am looking for.

No.. TEIN cannot substitute springs into a coilover setup. In your case, you can get the TEIN SuperStreet for the 2K Max (adjustible height+dampening).. we installed it into a 2k2 i30, pretty soft ride, even when it was dropped 2.5" all around

well, mine come in today, and I'll get them installed here in a couple weekends (working for next 2 weekends), so I can spread the good word, considering Teins racing experience, and quality, they should be awesome.

Sup Andrew.. Congrats, you have one of the first TEIN basic kits in the US. I'll be getting mine in about a month. (Have to pay off my wheels first )

98SterlingMaxSE- these coilovers were just released last week. Feedbacks will come in time.
